📢 Urgent Call to Action 📢The Fearless Fund is under attack! Conservative activist Edward Blum has filed a lawsuit alleging unlawful racial discrimination against the Fund. He claims that the Fund restricts eligibility for its grant competition to only Black women entrepreneurs. The Fearless Fund is a champion for underrepresented entrepreneurs, particularly Black women, and is dedicated to leveling the playing field. Shockingly, only 0.34% of venture capital funding goes to Black women, despite their incredible rate of starting businesses. Now is the time to take a stand for economic opportunity, fairness, and equity. I implore you to join me in supporting the Fearless Fund. Here's how you can help:🖊️ Sign the letter of support💰 Donate to their fund🎟️ Attend their 2-Day summit in Atlanta, GA next week. It's open to anyone interested in entrepreneurship and venture capital.By supporting the Fearless Fund, we can come together to uplift Black women and create a more inclusive society. When we rise, everyone rises! Click on the image below to take action now. #SupportFearlessFund #EqualityForAll

Happy #womenshistorymonth 🫧 to all the amazing women of the world. •Did you know that the number of female entrepreneurs in the United States has increased 114% over the last two years?! That puts us at 39.9% of business owners nationwide ✨ high five, ladies! •When I started Dyoowe, LLC I was 22. Initially conceived as a platform for the beauty products I desired for my personal use, Dyoowe transformed into a yearning for deeper and more meaningful relationships, blossoming into an authentic dialogue about business success, extending from me to you.•Fast forward a few years; Dyoowe launched Girls Want Dinner Parties, a non-profit organization designed to network, empower and uplift women in their local communities. Inspired by my Gran, who never turned anyone down for a conversation, meal or prayer my entire life.•However, this effort is not enough. Historically, women receive less than 2.1% of venture capital, and it’s only going DOWN. •That’s why as a multi-business owner, I have the pledge to support all women, as women. I am excited to announce that Girls Want Dinner Parties will be providing grant-based funding to young female entrepreneurs, chasing their dreams.•The time is now to be a female entrepreneur, and I want to push you towards your wildest dreams. #nevergiveup #bosslady

It's #womenshistorymonth ! Women have had a long journey - to which they have fought for freedom to vote and for equal rights (among so many other things). This fight continues today and I am proud to say I am a part of that fight for #equality. Here are six ways I plan to support women this month and beyond:1) #donate double my monthly goal to Kiva.org. I specifically focus on supporting entrepreneurial women in rural Guatemala2) All books purchased during the month will be written and produced by #women. So far, I've finished: Labyrinth by Catherine Coulter and Medgar & Myrlie by Joy-Ann Reid, and I am currently enjoying a post-apocalyptic novel set by Kyla Stone. 3) #volunteer time and clothing to my local women & children's shelter (see lifemoves.org for shelters in the Silicon Valley)4) Donating time on panels to bring awareness to inequities faced by women today (pm me for more details on how you can join movements)5) Marching in the #WomensMarch and the subsequent Women's Summit in San Francisco (womensmarchsf.org) 6) Pouring my #energy into the young people in my inner circle: teaching them that equality is vital to the success of our world and our futures. Discrimination and hate are never ok. If you have plans and ideas on how you will celebrate #womensmonth please feel free to share and comment! I'd love to hear your positive impact. #womenempowerment #womensupportingwomen #equalitydiversityinclusion #changethenarrative #antibullying #inclusionmatters #womeninbusiness #volunteerism #CFCU #ChevronFCU #creditunions #notforprofit #womeninleadership

Edward Blum...Wants to Burn it All Down For Black Women Business Owners. The Facts: Black women only receive "less than 0.35 percent of all VC funding""Only 93 Black women had ever raised over $1 million in venture capital""White women have received79%of seed-stage funding categorized as deployed to diverse founders, according to an analysis of Crunchbase data.""While white males have a staggering93%of the venture capital funds."The Fearless Fund Which Grants Up to $20,000 to Black Women Entrepreneurs is causing Blum substantial harm. He feels distressed knowing Black women have the Opportunity to Succeed without Cleaning his homes and Caring for his Children. History shows anytime powerful white men "perceive" Black Americans are getting ahead when in fact this program is only leveling the playing they use a mob to burn it all down. Except this time he is using Ultra Conservative Appeals Court Judges appointed by Donald Trump. Go Figure. Blum's attacks are Primitive and Giving Plantation Owner Vibes. Do Black Women Sue White Venture Capital Companies for Excluding Them? No, instead Strong Smart Black Women Build Companies Like the Fearless Fund to Bridge the Gap.
