Husband and I went for dinner the first night in town. It’s got a humorous menu (you’ll understand when you read it) and good service. The food was good - not amazing, but definitely good and worth what we paid for it. The beer selection could have been a bit wider - or at least more accessible. It was hard to know what they had on tap without cell service as the beer menu was online. We don’t have children but saw multiple families dining with them and there was a kids menu. Overall seemed kid friendly and a good atmosphere. The interior design was on point as well.

Service was great, seating for 9 was very quick. Food was good but not what we were expecting. I think the menu and pics we saw online were quite old. Will be attaching some updated photos with this review to help future guests. Added bonus being so close to the Sea Life center!

Came here for lunch with a large group. They were able to accommodate us which was great! Where they seated us had the perfect view of the mountains of Seward. I ordered the fish tacos(I never had fish tacos but they were SO yummy, love the crispy kale on top.) My boyfriend ordered the hot chicken sandwich which he said was good but nothing to really rave about. Everyone else seemed satisfied with their food and alcohol choices as well. They also have darts (which we played) and some awesome skate boards and snow boards hung along the walls.

NOTE: They are currently closed for the season. They will be reopening in May 2023.Seward Brewing Company has to be probably my second favorite restaurant in town. We got food from quite a few places in Seward when we were in town back in June 2022, but SBC is probably my second favorite out of all the ones we tried.The overall vibe of the restaurant is gorgeous and modern. 2 floors of seating so they can accommodate a lot of people.The service was super friendly! Our waitress was very attentive to us, gave great menu suggestions since we were new people to town, and had a great attitude!As for the food, I got the Regular Rudy pizza and it was amazing! The crust is crispy and the toppings are crazy hot and fresh!Overall, if you ever make it out to Seward in the summer time, hit up this place! Great food, service, and beer lists!I’ll definitely come back here the next time I make it out to Alaska.

Great service even though it was packed shortly after opening. I always go to breweries and was a little disappointed with their selection of IPas. There was only one and it wasn't terrible. Just different. Almost tasted like a mix between a regular beer, a shot, cider and a seltzer.I actually don't know what a seltzer is. I am a man. I also use to have a man bun and am a hipster and still wouldn't drink it. They do have one. Which is sad considering it's a brewery. My only complaint is on me. Not them.The FRIES!!!!!!! I would go back to order a few fries and nothing else. It has brisket ends, gorganzola crumbs, beer cheese, fat fries, and Sriracha sauce. I don't think I've actually tasted Sriracha sauce but these fries were awesome.We also had the tacos and hot chicken sandwich. My girlfriend said the tacos were awesome and also agrees on the fries.Definitely worth a visit. Other places in town have a few selection of beers. Even the local Cafe. So get your IPA on after.

My family just visited a Seward’s brewery called Seward Brewing Company and whenever you have one local brewery in a small town; I get very excited because there’s something about the essence of a local brewery that calls out for a small town. This brewery was the exact representation of that! It was on the Main Street of the town, with a warm inviting atmosphere that draws you to the wooden hostess front desk right next to the metal Fermentation vessels with a smell of malt that is getting you excited to taste what the small brewery had to offer. For me, my favorite breweries, are the breweries that have incredible beer and food! Not only was the beer and food great, but there was also a family atmosphere and my kids had a great time as well(they loved the pizza). The staff was very nice, friendly and the service was excellent!They didn’t have too many beers on tap but most important they hit every category of beer and all of it was on point and very well done.Overall I give the Seward Brewery a 5 out of 5 stars!

Great spot for food! First of all, the menu made me chuckle. It’s great! I’ve never had fish tacos before and there was no better place to try it. It’s called, In Cod We Trust. Make sure you check it out if you are in town!

If you want great food and a brewery with a personality, definitely check this place out! Every sign has a charming snarky comment and the rotating menu has plenty of puns. We started out with a pretzel and beer cheese which was perfect for splitting as an appetizer. The pretzel is well cooked and the beer cheese stole the show with plenty of flavor. I ordered their pizza special and my spouse got the pho-king sandwich (his go to) I had the Sauvy-B KYPA Which was surprisingly delicious considering I usually dislike IPAs. The root beer was also tasty!

Came back to this pace after 12 years and had extremely high expectations because 12 years ago this restaurant was one of the highlights of my trip to Seward.Unfortunately, the dining experience tonight wasn't nowhere near as good. Let's begin with the positives:Our server was very courteous (thank you, Taylor - I hope I'm spelling her name correctly!) and took a very good care of us. Next, overall atmosphere was great - we got a table on the second floor and the view out of the window on the second floor was spectacular.That said, the biggest disappointment came from the food we ordered. I ordered fish tacos (name of the dish - In Cod We Trust) and, it was very bland and lacked flavor. Not sure if they're supposed to be bland, but I did not enjoy them that much. I tried another dish (cold noodle bowl) and, much like the fish tacos, this dish was tasteless. There were maybe two pieces of zucchini in the whole bowl and 90% of the dish was cold noodles.I'm not sure if I'll be back after tonight's dining experience, but hopefully the review helps to improve the quality of the food. Otherwise, this is a great place to come and hang out with family and friends!

We ordered the veggie quesadilla, steak tacos and the gold pan (Crab, fish and chips, and chowder). The veggie quesadilla was one of the worst quesadillas I have ever tried as if they just put all of the kitchen leftovers in a tortilla and toasted it, the steak tacos while palatable were dry and flavor less. And the gold pan was mediocre but better than the other dishes. Finally the service, was like the name of the restaurant signified was rushed we were handed the check before we asked for it and which felt like politely telling us to leave.To summarize if I was asked for a restoraunt recommendation I would not recommend it.

Wonderful and friendly service that brought out the dishes promptly. All of the food that we ordered was excellent and fresh, from vegetables to seafood. I would highly recommend the Alaskan King Crab Leg, Halibut Tacos, and Veggie Quesadilla.

This place was great! I can't begin to describe how amazing their bacon sweet potato fries were! Everything else we got was delicious too! I got the philly cheese steak with garlic Parmesan fries as well. Definitely recommend all of those!

A decent spot in the heart of Seward.We came for a brief dinner back in June when we were in town and the experience was decent.Unfortunately I’ve already forgotten how most of my experience was but I can say that the fish and chips pictured below was good for the most part!Overall, Gold Rush Bistro is a good joint. I’ll probably be back.

Gold Rush Bistro has become one of my favorite places to eat while in Seward. It's a funky little spot with delicious eats. I've had their tacos, chowder, burger, and more. It's conveniently located in downtown Seward, within walking distance to so many places!

I ordered the halibut sandwich with garlic, french fries. It was the best halibut sandwich I have ever had! I ordered the waterfront salad as well, and it was amazing. Also! Everything was extremely delicious and very fresh! Definitely ordered the halibut sandwich!!!!

REALLY GOOD FOOD! I recommend to everyone, if you like halibut and sweet potato fries, then get the halibut fish and chips but instead of regular fries get the sweet potato fries. The only reason I left a four, is because the waiters and cooks weren’t wearing masks. Really long wait time for food, but not they’re fault, it was crowded.

Had great food and service. I got the Z burger and it was perfect and great buttered fries. My mom got their king crab and chowder combo and was extremely happy with it. The leg was massive and she said the chowder was excellent.

Visited for lunch today and LOVED the clam chowder - best I've had in Alaska, yet! The grilled ham and cheese sandwich was ok, too salty for my taste. My husband ordered the salmon sandwich and enjoyed it. He wished there were more fries since they were really good. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Great place to have lunch. We ordered one lb of Alaska king crab. It is not only good price but also very delicious and fresh. Sweet potatoes are also very tasty.

They haven't updated the menu or the price online yet. Everything is noticeably more expensive, but this is the case pretty much everywhere. We had the salmon dinner entree with a creamy sauce. The salmon dinner was out-of-the-world delicious. The creamy sauce was very rich. The salmon was fresh and cooked just right. The sweet potato fries was a perfect appetizer. The whole experience was fantastic. Staff was friendly and food was great. Portion was very generous. I honestly didn't have any room for dessert after finishing the whole dinner entree. I high recommend this place to anyone visiting Seward.

If you can get reservations or wait for a table... stop here! Best service in Seward! The food was incredible. Brussels mixed with cashews were to die for! Mushroom toast was out of this world. Such excellent flavors! The only thing we didn't care for was the shrimp. It was good quality, just didn't jive with the flavors.

Definitely recommend! No available reservations the Sunday night my brother and I went, but we waited in line 10 minutes before opening and were seated within 5 minutes. The staff is courteous and attentive and the food is outstanding. We got Brussel sprouts and mushroom toast as appetizers, carrot curry soup and pig du jour (pig belly) for main and rhubarb hand pie and cream cheese ice cream with bacon (a must) for dessert!

Oysters and seafood chowder are super great! Highly recommend. The entree is more like a fusion and new style, we tried fried chicken, pork and salmon. All are also good, but not very special. Overall the plating of food is great.This place is popular, good to reserve online in advance. The service is good.

You will not regret to wait for two hours or more to try it out. We stayed in Seward for 4 nights and unfortunately all of these days were fully booked. We started waiting there everyday when it opened. Finally, we made it on our last day. You can randomly pick any dish from the menu and I am sure you will be satisfied by each random one!! Their service are superb, compared with other restaurants in that small town.

Our experience at the Cookery was a good one. It's a low key, no pressure atmosphere with surprisingly upper scale food. The taster that came before our meal was a great surprise. Service was super friendly. The prices are slightly on the higher side though fair for a tourist town in Alaska.Our meal consisted of fresh shucked oysters which were excellent and the fish of the day - a super fresh juicy halibut cooked perfectly was also excellent. Our vegan friends that joined us found few vegan options but the two dishes they found they thought were good. There were no vegan dessert options.Speaking of desserts, we tried the carrot cake parfait with a side of their unique cream cheese ice cream both were great!

We had a lovely Father’s Day meal at the cookery! Friendly, attentive staff and unique menu. We enjoyed Alaskan sockeye salmon for the first time!! Love how they feature local artists on the walls (art available for purchase!).

we were lucky enough to get a table at the bar but boy was the wait worth it. Started off with local 🦪 oysters, fresh bread and spreads, the i had the crab salad and soup for my entree & my hubs had the salmon. Both were excellent

This is a hidden gem in Alaska! To be honest, I did not expect to find such fine seafood restaurant in Seward but this place is simply amazing! Everything we ordered was delicious and super fresh! Seasoning was just spot on, complementing the freshness of the ingredients. The atmosphere and service was also warm and friendly. A must visit in Seward! The place can easily be full so do come early or make reservation in advance.

Mostly tapas type of dishes with a few specialized entrees. Excellent overall, we enjoyed everything we had. We got a table doing a walk-in when they just opened. The food features fresh local ingredients and was elevated with rich flavors and exotic twists. Everything was delicious but highly recommend the shrimp, scallop, and the halibut!

Broiled oysters, baked halibut, smoked tri tip, and cheesecake ice cream, oh my! I forgot to get a pic of the mushroom toast on homemade bread. 😋 If you find yourself in Seward, Alaska you MUST have dinner at The Cookery. What a delightful upscale eating establishment with a down-to-earth vibe. No fried food on this menu. Do yourself a favor and go (just remember to make a reservation)!

Wonderful atmosphere that gives a fusion of fine dining and a homey environment where everyone knows you. Excellent staff and fantastic food. Everything was extremely fresh and prepared to perfection. 10/10

I have to say I was impressed. Service never seemed to miss a beat. Food was on point. Flavors were great. Their soup, BLToast, Salmon and pork dish (Meatballs) followed with two separate desserts for tasting. My only feed back would be a slightly bigger portion with the meatball dish or have an option for a few more based on the size of the meatball. It was overall a very great experience, if ever in Seward again I would come back. Dinner for two with a couple of drinks came out to about $170 and definitely worth it. Thank you!

Excellent coffee and tasty breakfast options (they serve lunch as well) abound at this welcoming Seward coffee house. Locals and tourists come to enjoy the delicious offerings. Try the baked oatmeal along with any of their specialty hot and cold drinks!

Holy. Cow. I'm unsure how I never tried this place before but I'm glad I finally did! This was easily one of the best breakfasts I've had in Seward. Service was fast and friendly and the menu has something for everyone. I had an egg and bacon panini, and my spouse got a vegetarian bagel. My panini was incredibly tasty, and the roasted red potatoes that came with were delicious. I also had a raspberry latte that was perfect for the cold rainy morning. Everything was so tasty that I tried to go back the next day but they had closed early.

This was a wonderful little place tucked away in Seward that my fiance and I enjoyed recently. The staff are friendly and helpful, and are willing to go out of their way to be accommodating for customers. However, with delicious popularity inevitably comes with long wait times, but yes it is worth the wait. The food was slightly wanting salt, but did not lack flavor. The coffee and ice chai we ordered were both excellent; the coffee was strong and rich without being acidic and the chai was flavorful without having the watery quality of a poorly made drink. They also have a unique variety of loose leaf tea selections that look delicious and I look forward to trying in the future. There is ample parking around the cafe and it is located only a brief walk from the Sea Life Center while still being right in the heart of the shops, bar, and restaurant area. Definitely the best place to get breakfast in Seward, you would be remiss to not take av quick moment to stop by and get a drink, either alcoholic or non-alcoholic.

We got here a little before 8am on the 4th of July and the rush happened around 8:15am, I'm talking like a like out the door, FYI! They have gluten free bread and pastries! The sandwich was huge. No complaints.

In town for a few days and found the Sea Bean while walking downtown. Ordered a cafe breve and cafe au lait plus a chocolate croissant to share - all were delicious. There are back issues of National Geographic and plenty of cozy seating to occupy a rainy morning.

If you just want drinks - this is the place to go! Peppermint hot chocolate and the hot mocha were delicious and the barista was so nice and brought our drinks right to our table. The server who took our order was flat and we said we were eating in and was served on paper plates while others were served on dishes. My mariner’s “bowl” came on a plate. The guac tasted only like onions and nothing else had flavor. The potatoes were decent but need to be crispier. The sandwich was also bland and the avocado just tasted like onions.I would only come back for the beverages. The food was awful.

Oh...my....gawd. I had to write this right now as I'm still eating. The smell of coffee is beautiful, the food takes a little bit of time to come out but wait for it. Trust me! This is the BEST smoked salmon sandwich you will ever have in your life!

We were visiting Seward for 3 days and just had to return for breakfast one more time before we left because we enjoyed it so much. Excellent food, friendly service, and a clean and comfortable setting make this place an exceptional choice for breakfast or lunch. Our favorite dishes were the baked oatmeal and the breakfast burrito. Delicious!

Went there for breakfast we ordered two cappuccinos and one breakfast sandwich and a breakfast bowl. The both breakfast items were delicious and very filling! And those two cappuccinos were spot-on!! The young man at the counter was very friendly and courteous It was a nice and quiet area. I'm a local from Anchorage and every so often go into Seward but not all the stores are open. This one is open for breakfast and lunch and just so grateful they were!

I can’t say this was a great dining experience - the chowder is amazing, but everything else was not. I couldn’t believe what they provided for the Nutella sandwich, at best a low quality home made packed lunch that you trade with your friend for a hostess. The Buddha bowl was confusing and not fully prepared.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE food with fast service! The Seafood Chowder is the best I’ve had- it’s flavorful with a perfect consistency and the addition of a bread bowl makes it sheer perfection. The shrimp were fried crispy and delicious. The Halibut and Salmon Fish and Chips were both amazing as well. I can’t recommend it enough!

The place was completely empty of other customers. Food was made fairly fast and it is very good quality. Great seaside view from the dining area. Would recommend the bacon cheeseburger. There are also vegan options.

Food was pretty tasty. Overall pleased with the hot and fresh fish and chips (halibut and rockfish). Seafood chowder tasted good, with large chunks of clams, I think, but could've been heated up, served on the lukewarm side. Green apple slaw was refreshing. Prices definitely not $...at least $$.

The staff helpful and service was nice. The place is clean and good location. However, overall I felt the prices were very high. It was $39 for the larger portion of fish and chips, which wasn't quite enough to split for two people. I've never seen it quite that high, even at foreign destinations. This was the first place we ate in Seward, so can't speak for other restaurants in the area.

I mean, if you want fish and chips, or just something basic you can get it here. It cost my son and I $50 for lunch and we drank water. Services was fantastic. But I'm not sure we will be back. Will definitely check out a few other establishments. The location and service is fantastic!

Got the halibut and shrimp combo with a side of calamari. Very disappointed in the food and service. First of all, the credit card machine wasn’t working so had to find cash. Halibut was incredibly tiny and didn’t taste like halibut fish whatsoever. Thought it was cod but they said it wasn’t. Very dull fish taste. Calamari tasted like it was in oil that was a couple of days old. Very stringy, as to be expected, but the batter was very distasteful due to the old oil taste. When server asked about meal and we shared our concerns, was told nothing other than just, “sorry, I just got back.” Would expect more when paying for a $49 meal.

The place wasn’t beautiful but they serve really fresh and delicious food. We had some fish & chips and it was really tasty.

The shrimp and halibut combo was enough for 2 people. Shrimp wasn’t anything special, but was good and the halibut was perfectly battered and fried. The chicken burger was ok, typical processed chicken patty deep fried. The coconut shrimp was out favorite. Service was great, and restaurant was clean. I’d come back if I end up back in Seward.

One of the best fish and chips I have ever had! Service was great. Atmosphere was terrific, being close to the harbor, and they have various background games in their outdoor seating area. Cleanliness was an issue though. Cost was pretty high too.

Great salmon and chips. Probably the best salmon I had the entire trip. The sauces were great too! Tried a piece of my dad's halibut and it was also delicious.

Excellent food... But can get really busy during peak season. Not enough restaurants in Seward down by the train and boat docks so the ones that are there get overwhelmed.Great food though and they were efficient when we visited despite being busy!

My wife has celiac so finding places that are safe for her to eat is always amazing.Antonio was awesome ‼️He understood the severity of cross contamination. Antonio had the cooks use separate clean pans (not just on the grill) to cook for her. She loved the burger so much we ordered a second to go!!!The grilled LOCAL rock fish was so tender and flaky. Delicious!Shared fryer so she couldn't have French fries.He has local beer on tap! I enjoyed that!All that was needed was some Gluten free soy sauce for the rice. Just a belt pizza. Thin crust under cooked. Lots of meat toppings on mine and veggies on the wife’s. Phone just rang. No easy parking for take out. Short on amt of cheese and sauce.

I'm rating this place a little high due to the child like reviews. Yes pizza is thin but ours was soft and not really that thin. Some pieces were soggy but other restaurants intentionally do that so I am use to it. This pizza is above average. Not the world's greatest pizza, but give it a shot when you visit Steward.Yes they have to cook your food and yes you have to wait. It's almost like Subway. Depending on the tourism, which they can't control, it can be slow. (Here is an idea. Don't travel.) They place the toppings on, right in front of you. Then it takes 2-3 mins to cook. One person works your pizza and can move onto the next like at subway. If a second employee is there than great. May not always be the case.I tried the large pepperoni which was really good. I also had a small half and half. Half buffalo chicken and half all meat. I literally had all the meat. Except ham. They forgot because I asked for all of them and it was looking a little ridiculous so they didn't put the ham on. Normally it's just 3 meats. The sausage, bacon, pepperoni, and chicken all tasted good.If you get gluten pizza.....what are you going to think it tastes likes? Unless you have celiac disease. Hop off the hipster train and stop drinking seltzers as well. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

They were very fast and friendly while making our pizzas. And the pizza itself is amazing!!!

I'm giving this a 5-star to compensate for some of the negative reviews. Was this place a truly 5-star pizzeria? Not really! Honestly more like a 4-star, so not far off. The pizza was pretty good, an 11-inch for $14?? Come on! I thought it was pretty good taste-wise, and I only had to wait about 10 minutes for my pizza which was perfect for a call-ahead order. It hit the spot; a cheap-ish pizza that perfectly satisfied the craving! This place does not deserve the negative 1 stars bringing it down.

Amazing, I called 15 minutes before was there, on Friday at 12 pm and the order was already in the system, I just had to pay and that’s it, really fast pizza 10/10 and the staff also 10/10.

Summary: Service great, some of the dishes were fantastic.Pros:- Calamari (not pictured) was awesome with a lovely spice to it, 5/5.- Creamy seafood linguine had a little too much thyme for my liking but a solid 4/5.- Crab cakes were great, fresh and crispy 5/5.- Halibut fish and chips were solid, the fries have a lovely battered crisp to it, and the coleslaw was surprisingly well balanced 4.5/5.- Seafood chowder (not pictured) looks gross but tastes great 4.5/5.- Cool decor and great view of the small boat harbor.- Above average service with a friendly waitress and fairly swift fulfillment of food orders.Cons:- pricey (but that is Seward)Overall: I withheld 5 stars as I think that should be reserved for places that really blow you away with the combination of food, service, and value. This is a fantastic restaurant and I would definitely come again, but I wouldn't say this is a one-of-a-kind place.

Casual place on the waterfront with upscale food. Best to make a reservation! Awesome views of the marina too. The food was excellent. Try the fresh halibut! The curry version was spectacular. Service was great for our group of 7. It’s pricy but the seafood is so fresh!

First time at Ray's Waterfront for me.I wanted burgers and fries and they were goodI ordered Ray's Famous Saltwater Burger, it has various ingredients but the pickled Jalapeño didn't see present at all.It was a good burger and fries, just didn't wow meService was good, 30 min wait after order to get the food. We had a great experience. Service was excellent! Best calamari ever! Bread was fantastic. Seafood pasta was good. Crab legs were good, but not a lot for the price... there also wasn't a crab season this year... so they were good for last year's crabs. Best bread pudding dessert I've ever had!

We had a very early dinner (around 5pm) at this beautiful restaurant and I must say it was an absolute delight.The seating by the window provided an amazing view of the bay. The seafood was incredible. We tried both the salmon and halibut fish dishes and they were both cooked to perfection.Our server was very attentive and was very helpful in guiding us through the menu and making recommendations.My favorite part of the meal was undoubtedly the peaceful and calming experience of enjoying our dinner while seated by the window.Overall, if you're looking for a restaurant with a beautiful ambiance, delicious seafood, and excellent service, then this is the place to go. I highly recommend it!

Food was amazing and we got to stare at the water while we ate. The crab cake appetizer was the best I have ever had. The salmon with bourbon glaze was good but the halibut with hollandaise was top notch. However if you are from the Wisconsin area skip the old fashion 😉

This came as a recommendation and we were a little disappointed. Nothing was particularly bad but it just wasn’t very good.The complimentary bread was served with dipping oil and was very yummy.Our favorite was the cup of spicy corn chowder. This was a special and so happy we ordered. This was 10/10.The captains platter was a 7/10Cioppino was 6/10. Seafood was good but it was horribly sweat and sauce tasted processed.Service was not very good, but I know it’s the start of the season here in Seward.The view was very nice. We were seated by the window with dock views. Cute to see an otter swimming by while enjoying a drink.

Stopped in after a tour of the glaciers and bay. Saw whales, orcas, black bear, puffin, seals, eagles and more. Food was excellent and well worth the 30 minute wait we had. Our only regret was we didn't have any room left for dessert. We had Alaskan King Crab legs, New York Strip steak and Halibut and enjoyed each one.

Chowder was the best we have had in AK! Service was excellent. Calamari was sub par. Steamers were good, broth tasty enough to sop up with their delicious bread. Bread loaf was excellent!! Crab cakes were tasty but just a little overcooked and dry.

The food and service were fantastic! We had the calamari and crab cakes for appetizers, prime rib and crab legs, seafood linguine, and salmon for dinner. All were cooked to perfection, and as a lifelong Alaskan I’m pretty fussy about my seafood. We know that when we come to Ray’s we will get what we pay for and leave satisfied.

Relaxing, casual vibe with pretty harbor view. Good service. Food is not good, there’s just no way around that. Fish is poorly cooked, rubbery and doused in sauce. I had a halibut special and my husband had the salmon. Both were disappointing. The saffron rice that accompanied the halibut was exceedingly dry. The asparagus tasted off. My husband’s “roasted” veggies were raw. Crab cakes for an app were a solid “fine”, but heavily fried. For one of our most expensive meals in Alaska, we’re just disappointed. Had amazing and fresh halibut and salmon back in Girdwood.

It really is a little hidden gem of a place! It looks kinda run down on the outside, but it's very neat and cozy once you get in. I really liked the rustic interior. Our waitress was very friendly and personable. The corn bread that came before our meal was good, but it was served cold. We thought that maybe that's a northern thing as we're from the south and usually have our corn bread served warm. My husband and I split the Captain's Plate which was plenty for us. The food was great, though the salmon was a tad dry, I thought. I loved the halibut chunks and shrimp! The French fries on our sons plate were blended perfectly, crunchy and soft! I deducted one star from my rating, because despite it being a family friendly place and the restroom being large enough to have one, there was no changing table to change my son's diaper while we were there. Available changing tables at family friendly places of business are a pretty big deal for us moms and dads of little ones, so I thought it should be mentioned. But over all should we ever find ourselves visiting Seward again, we'd definitely look back into this place!

One of the best meals I've had start to finish at a restaurant in a long time. There will probably be a 45 min to hour wait but it is worth it. The clam chowder had plenty of fish in every bite. The large bowl is a value at $12. The salmon sandwich was really good and their homemade Berry Crisp dessert was the perfect way to end the meal. My server Savannah took excellent care of me. She has a great attitude. If I ever visit Seward again I will be back no doubt.

We visited this restaurant last year while staying in Seward for several days.The food was very good with decent portions, great atmosphere, but a little tight and crowded inside. We did have to wait about an hour to be seated as they were pretty busy at the time.The king crab legs were great! Not the largest that I have seen, but they were decent size.

Cute rustic restaurant with good drinks, great food and friendly service. We had the salmon chunks for an appetizer and it was so good. We split the captains platter and a cup of salmon chowder. The chowder was the best I’ve ever had. Topped it all off with a homemade blueberry cobbler (crisp). Would definitely come back!

It is all it's cracked up to be. 🙂 The crab legs and the salmon bake were both very good, but it is the clams that were excellent (def order!). The grilled chicken burger was good, fry's were great, and the seafood chowder (primarily the salmon chowder) is worth ordering as well. Just about the only thing meh was the large salad (for the vegetarian in the family).There was a 20 min wait, but they have a nice waiting room. Remember to weigh yourself in on the old timey weighing machine, makes for good conversation.The service is patchy, we had to remind our server Savanah a few times about missing things etc. But this is probably due to short staffing during covid.All in all, you must go here if you are in Seward.

Our last night in Seward we ate here for dinner. They gave us cornbread before our meals which I thought was pretty okay, a little on the dry side for my liking. My boyfriend and I ordered the gulf captian’s platter and split it between the 2 of us. The halibut and tartar sauce were my favorite. Dessert we tried the chocolate cake which was perfect if youre a chocolate lover, but be aware, it is a LARGE slice so great for 3+ people to share.

We really enjoyed a great meal after coming down from Exit Glacier. This little restaurant is located right before turning onto the main highway back to Seward. I was saving my seafood dish for the following night. I ordered their hand patted cheeseburger with two half pound patties, and it was delicious. My wife ordered a Halibut broil, and she really enjoyed it as well. We had the Halibut chunks appetizer as well as the seafood chowder. It's all very tasty! I would say that for $21, the halibut chunks could be a little more voluminous. There were 5 chunks. We would definitely go back.Hope this review helped you. Enjoy Alaska!

The place is near the exit glacier lodge. The food is generally okay despite a bit expensive (acceptable given the overall high price in Seward area). The broiled salmon and halibut chunk are great! They also offer conplimentary corn bread.

Since it was a dismal, rainy day (check out the puddle in their parking lot) and we had been on the boat tour for most of that 6 hours, we decided to return to the Windsong Lodge to warm up and dry out. Not many choices to eat unless you head to the onsite restaurant or walk the half mile to The Salmon Bake. Glad we did though since it was much better than eating at the lodge. We were seated right away since we were fairly early and I think many were deterred by the rain. The server was very friendly and efficient. Good local draft beer on tap. Sockeye salmon sandwich was delicious and the homemade berry cobbler a la mode was very good. Atmosphere is very lodge eclectic and kitschy but fitting for the area. Definitely not lousy food so check it out.

Hands down the best salmon bake in Seward! Simple salmon bake dinner paired with baked potato(bombed!) and corn was so good it hit just right! Portion was very generous and I didn't have any room left for dessert. We also order steamed clam appetizer to share. It was steamed with white wine and generous amount of garlic. The battery sauce/broth was so good you would want to drink it. Pop gave it 2 thumbs up!! Seafood chower was LOADED with salmon and chunks of scallop. We ordered a bowl to share. It was definitely a great little appetizer. If you come you Seward, you must visit this place. You won't regret it!!

The sign reads “cheap beer, lousy food”, it’s a little harsh but somewhat accurate. The salmon bake was good, but I think the fried shrimp come frozen from a bag. The “homemade cobbler” looked like it came from Costco and was 95% sugar. The food wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good. I’m very underwhelmed. The crab cakes were not crispy.

Their dolma is vegetarian and the pita bread it came with was so soft! Good tatziki sauce as well. Calzone was fresh out the oven and tasted great. Nice atmosphere, staff was very friendly and helpful.

No one does pizza like Apollo! Best pizza in Alaska and what better way to eat it than on the beach. The staff are friendly and it's family run. Stop by summer or winter, they're one of the few places that stays open year around.

Food was fantastic! The fish and chips was a very large portion, enough for 2 people, and very good.Definitely a lot of options on the menu that aren't necessarily Greek, but a few options that are Greek as well.

We were stuck in town due to a road closure and wanted something other than a burger. We tried two different calzones and were not thrilled with either. The food at the restaurant was overpriced and Meh quality. It basically tasted like something I made at home with my kids. There was no seasoning but they came out fast so that was a plus. Our waitress would walk past the table several times and not bother checking on us. We had empty drink glasses and had to wait for her to bring us the check. Overall is was a disappointment and will definitely pass on next time in town.

Excellent food. They were shortstaffed due to the pandemic but took great care of us.The clam chowder is made fresh daily and was great (maybe a few too many potatoes), and I had the Halibut stuffed pastry. Very good.

The mushroom appetizer was a decadent dream and the lamb chops were exquisitely delicious! Also my family enjoyed the bruschetta and silky tender buttery halibut! Demi the owner was fabulous and we will definitely return again!

One of the only places in town that will cook your catch (if not the only place)! Unfortunately, the sides that came with it were rather abysmal. For example, there were long, irregularly shaped carrot shreds in our salad, and the lettuce was quite wet. Our fish turned out very well due to the freshness of the catch, but at $28/person, it is quite pricey.Service is a little slow and some staff seem quite disgruntled.

We had the 16 inch Tundra pizza and a beer. The pizza was absolutely delicious ans very filling. Decent prices on beer as well. Super friendly staff as well.

The servers were great and very accommodating. The view was awesome. The food was not worth the price neither were the drinks. The burger I got was very dry both the bun and the actual patty. The chowder was mostly just soup base. The crab cakes were not great but not horrible, just very middle ground. The fries were okay. Now for the drinks. Mostly syrup it felt like and overall pretty sweet. We had 3 different drinks and they were just okay. The place was still great, I enjoyed it overall and I did hear some pretty great things about the rest of their food options I just didn't experience that food.

We had breakfast and dinner here. The food is ok. Service is meh. If you get a seat facing the mountain, the view is great. Breakfast 8s better than dinner. Smoked salmon, poached eggs, were both good. The potatoes in all breakfasts were crispy and hot.For dinner the seafood soup was luke warm, as were the fries and quinoa. The chicken burger was ok. Salmon and rice were good, you should order it.The interior of the restaurant is great, with paintings by local artists adorning the walls. Our service for both breakfast and dinner was slow, and we had to seek out server for water or ketchup or the check.There are plenty of great options in the area, try them instead. Especially the Salmon Bake which is one minute away.

Yummy! Slightly expensive though, we ordered the small clam chowders for 12 dollars each and were surprised at how small they really were. The salmon crostini is great though, highly recommend (in the picture there are 4 because we already ate one.)The beet salad was fine. Enjoyed the walnuts in it, however a lot of the lettuce was wilted and did not taste very fresh.

If you are seated next to the window or on the patio, you'll have a nice view. Food is alright but nothing to rave about. Service is good. If you're lucky enough to have nice weather in the morning, this is a decent breakfast spot.

We were recommended this restaurant. We were told 45 minute wait, then when we pulled the playing cards out in the lobby, there was a lot of murmurs and we were instantly seated (5 party). We ordered an appetizer, which came out the same time as dinner (even though ordered 15 minutes earlier than dinner order). The food was good. Then we were in a deep conversation with years being shed of life's struggles between friends and when we asked the server to come back in a minute (to bring the check), she just stared at us until we paid. It was odd and she needs to read situations, especially when asked directly.

The lemon based crust was sprinkled on the cheesecake instead on the bottom.For drinks we ordered the local coffee stout. It has a great coffee flavor and aroma. It's less creamy and light bodied than other stouts but definitely a great pick for stout drinkers.

This is a 3.5 star rating. We had both dinner and the breakfast buffet at Resurrection Roadhouse. Enjoyed dinner with a nice salad and fish entree as well as decadent dessert. Service was good. Returned for breakfast and this was less spectacular with ho-hum scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurt and oatmeal with toppings. Service was OK, but mostly serve yourself. Must say that the views out the windows was spectacular though. Glad that there was at least another dining option close by and also a shuttle into Seward.

Came here for breakfast and I'm so happy I did. The guy behind the counter was calm (his demeanor seems like maybe he's prior military) but cool nonetheless. I'm happy with the amount of food I got (my picture shows my plate after eating more than half of everything 😁). The staff is good and so is the food. I would definitely recommend.

I stay here a lot for work. Rooms are clean, more space in singles with just one bed. There's a fridge, good pressure in shower, but there's no clock in the rooms. If you need one, or an alarm, plan on using your phone.Staff is very pleasant, location is right off the highway, walking distance to the small boat harbor, and only about a mile to downtown. Walking distance to ship terminal also. Great views all around.

Best service and accomodations I've had in a while! Great location, a block away from the harbor. The staff is wonderful. Rooms are clean and comfy, no matter what room you're in you get a view, either the mountains or the harbor, it's all nice!10/10 would recommend.

We did not stay at the Breeze Inn, but we ate in the lounge several times in our three day stay in Seward. The food was amazing and the service was even better!!I had a rough day of travel and the server (Hank) made sure the chef was able to cook me something up so I could at least have some dinner. (He went above for me and was an excellent server!! So appreciated).Sean also was an excellent server. Attentive and remembered us after just one visit.The french dip is one of the best french dip sandwiches we have ever had and we are french dip connoisseurs. The halibut chunks were some of the best we have had. The onion rings and seafood chowder were pretty amazing too!If you are in Seward, you need to eat in the lounge for lunch or dinner (breakfast was good too).

Well this is not the place to stay for the ritzy type people. This is certainly a motel type with a nicer place connected to it. It is doable if you can get past the old wash cloth we found hanging, the heat never turned off, and I was hanging out with Jerry (the mouse LOL) never saw Tom (the cat).Other than that the staff was very nice.

My husband reserved a room here because our favorite place that allows dogs was booked. The lady at the front desk was very helpful and friendly (& the reason for one star) but our room...well, we checked in, got to our room and decided to drive back to Anchorage rather than stay. It was right in front of parking spaces where we heard everyone who pulled up during our brief time in the room, it was very outdated, small, and had an odor. The nice front desk lady told us about blackened chicken at the restaurant so we went. The bartender/server was very nice, the drinks and food were both good (the reason for the other star). It is very loud, but its a bar so expected. Overall, I'd skip the stay.

The lobby is warm and welcoming and all the staff are very kind and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious and inviting. Rooms may have a fridge but I don’t think there is a microwave.

We stayed for one night. The rooms are very clean. Towels are fresh. There is shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, makeup remover. There is a coffee maker. There is a TV and a refrigerator. There is a microwave in the lobby. Breakfast can be purchased. Delicious. I really liked the housekeepers. The room was ready at 14:00. The staff is courteous and pleasant. Thank you very much.

This is a motel not a Hilton. Keep expectations in check. But the rooms were a good value, clean enough. Yeah its older but you'll be fine. It's bar/ lounge has great food and reasonabledrink prices. Friendly people. Locals hang out at this bar. Front desk check in is good. Location is great. Shops, tour locations, food, gas station, harbor boardwalk, cruise tour ships, gift shops are within a couple min walk.

First the actual Inn:They're pet-friendly!I should also note that I came here very late in the fall, long after tourist season, so the rates were way lower ($69 before taxes and fees). The rooms provided a bed, bathroom, mini fridge and TV (no microwave). Might be basic, but that's what you're paying for, so I'd say it's a great deal (in winter anyway- I can't speak to what it would be during tourist season). Also, great service! My truck died overnight, and the maintenance man came running to give me a jump!And the restaurant:I must say the dining options are kind of bleak in Seward during winter, especially for breakfast. Luckily, the Breeze Inn restaurant was right there. The food was good, and the prices were very fair considering that things are generally more expensive in Seward.I'll definitely keep both the inn and restaurant in mind next time I come to Seward!

The menu, though comparable to that of a lower-48 (states) bar-n-grill, has some local favorites.The service is as exceptional as the entrees coming out of the kitchen, with fairly reasonable prices for being Seward.The location is very convenient, being located within walking distance of a few hotels/motels, in addition to their own branded hotel, not to mention numerous amenities.

My friends and I stayed at this hotel at the end of April. Not quite tourist season. Upon arrival, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude to us because we had 3 people instead of 2 like our reservation said. (One of my friends decided to join last minute, and we had a room with 2 beds so we didn't think it would be an issue.) We were told it would be an extra charge for the third person. The front desk lady continued to be rude and dismissive even after we accepted the charge. Our room was on the outside part of the hotel, and was nice enough. Small and basic but clean. However, our room proceeded to get too hot while we slept. None of us slept well, and I eventually had to open a window to cool us down. Traffic was loud in the morning because of the open window, but I would rather have that than sweating in my sleep. When my friend went to check out, a different front desk lady was rude. My friend asked for a receipt (hoping to clarify the extra charges) and the front desk lady was very short in saying that we already had a copy online. The receipt was never actually emailed to us, and we only knew what they charged us based on a bank statement.

This hotel is basically like a motel 6 at best. I reserved 2 rooms, both doubles (first mistake, don’t get doubles). They proceeded to tell me that they were the first rooms built in the 70’s and when you walk in, you can definitely tell. There’s not a lot of upkeep in those rooms and they smell ungodly. Beds are not comfortable whatsoever. For $200 per night, per room, I’d expect something a little more decent. The morning front desk brunette lady was top notch! The evening front desk staff were “meh”. They did change my room when I complained about the smell. But the morning front desk lady noticed that the evening staff charged me for an extra adult which was unacceptable. They didn’t even notify or ask me. My 13 yr old stepson looks like a full grown adult, but he’s not. I’m already paying a decent amount, don’t try to nickel and dime people. Needless to say, this would be my last resort ever staying here.

Great breakfast spot in seward, just have to be there on time! Breakfast grill closes at 10:45am, and they're spot on with that time! But the Chicken Fried Steak and the Eggs Benedict.... delicious!Got a home made cinnamon roll too, yummy!

The room was comfortable and clean with a few exceptions. The pillows are very soft and there aren't a lot of them. The front desk wasn't able to get us more pillows. The beds are on the firm side, as well, which wasn't an issue for me, but definitely a consideration.The service was great. If you're traveling on the train, you can check your bags directly to the hotel. We got in 4 hours before check-in and the hotel let us lock our bags up so we could explore Seward a bit without lugging our bags all over. They also let us lock our bags up after we checked out while we waited for the train.The Breeze Inn's restaurant has above average food for the area as well, definitely try the halibut chunks and wild game sliders.The location is directly across from the Kenai Fjords tours and several other Seward tours and activities as well as a large number of restaurants and gift shops.The view is incredible, but that's just Alaska.

The food is good, for sure, but what makes this place special is that it's embued with love. It's a very small, family run restaurant, that's decorated with family photos and travel memorabilia. It's a place where people have spent their childhoods, grown up, left, and will return to. While I was there, a neighborhood kid, the sweetest, most gregarious little girl, just came in and randomly decided to make friends with me. It's like eating delicious food and drinking a cup of tea at your mom's or your grandma's house.

My boyfriend and I came for a nice lunch during my birthday vacation - and oh my god. The decor is so eclectic and adorable and the vibe upon walking in is so incredibly warm and welcoming. The crepes were - *chefs kiss*. If you’re in Seward , you have to make the stop. I will be telling every person I know about this place. (Ask about their hot sauce they make - it’s bomb.)

We went for crepes. They were very large and tasty! The space is small, so you might have to wait for a table if it’s a weekend in peak season since there are only a few available. The coffee was self-serve and very good. You can tell there is a lot of love in this place.

This place is incredible. The atmosphere is personal and the Crepe Southwest is outstanding. If you're offered the homemade habenero salsa, take it! It really compliments the crepe. I'll definitely be back.

Stopped in on a Sunday in September for lunch. Very, very good food. We had both waffles, a couple crepes and a desert crepe. All was excellent. Kids loved watching the crepes being cooked in front of them. The American waffle was perfect amount for my two preschoolers to split. The place will be closing early October for the winter.

This place is.. oh, it's fantastic. I first visited in 2014 on vacation and the family that owns the place is just so welcoming, so friendly. Eager to share stories and listen to yours. The walls were decorated with so many interesting items that have stories unto themselves. The crepes were gigantic and delicious. I was grateful to discover that not much has changed since then, short of the absence of Yvon, who I hope is doing well. This will always be my #1 breakfast spot in Seward.

We came here for breakfast after seeing the rave reviews for the crepes. They exceeded expectations for both sweet and savory entrees.Good things will come to those that wait their turn at Le Barn Appetit Inn & Creperie. Love and care go into making these crepes, so patience will pay off for those willing to wait for them. After all, each order is hand made by the owner herself. This is a small kitchen, one person crepe making operation.

I ate breakfast here and had the most relaxing morning. I was solo as my husband was off hiking a glacier. I had a ham, spinach, and cheese crepe with Dijon mustard. Delicious, and the owner makes them right in the dining area. They have excellent coffee and a selection of cookbooks to peruse. I will definitely go back for one of their sweet crepes.

A hidden gem! The owner was very sweet and the atmosphere was very homey! The crepes were delicious! I asked for gluten-free, and she made the batter GF, so I could enjoy the banana & Bavarian custard crepe. Yum!! Self-serve coffee with flavored syrup is also nice & easy for you to grab, as the owner is cooking the crepes at a station right there in front of you. Glad we found this place!

We were in Seward 3 days and ate here three days. A hidden gem of a place. You walk in and you feel like you are with long lost family (that you like and get along with) serve yourself coffee and 28 kinds of tea. Sweet and savory crepes served with love. Don’t be afraid to to talk. The family that owns and runs the establishment is awesome. I would 100% recommend people eat here!!!

Just came here for breakfast (savory crepe du jour) and had a lovely relaxing time. Definitely don't come here if you're on a schedule, because if it's busy, then you'll wait a long time for your crepes, which are made carefully two at a time. Self-serve bottomless coffee is a plus. Wonderful family owned restaurant and inn. We stayed here for a week and enjoyed the delicious crepes before heading out fishing in the bay each morning. It’s rustic and not ritzy, just what we needed for a nice vacation!

Amazing food and extremely personable owner!!We stopped for brunch and had one savory and one sweet crepe, sharing each between two people. They were large, but so good that I could have eaten them on my own!We came at a busy point, so waited a little for food, but it was sooo worth it. We also had the rare opportunity to speak with one of the owners/chefs. (She’s normally busy making one crepe after another!) Lovely lady with amazing stories.I can’t recommend this place enough!!

I picked this place because of the food pics I saw online. When we got there the menu was one page & only had a handful of seafood items. The waiter came by, I asked if that was everything they had, & he said “Oh you came here because the pictures you saw online right? We don’t have any of that anymore.” He then told me they didn’t have any of the seafood items except the fish & chips and I could add halibut to my mac & cheese. Taste of everything was just okay and pretty expensive. Basically, don’t go here.

We were originally going to Seward brewing but were turned away (kind of dismissively 2 hours before closing) so we chose Chattermark and it was so wonderful! Should have started here to begin with. The staff was extremely friendly and fit us in even though it was a busy night. The chowder, beer and fish and chips (halibut) were AMAZING. Cozy little spot too. Would definitely go back!

I had a great experience at CHATTERMARK. Both Kevinique and Anthony were extremely courteous, personable, and professional. As soon as we walked in, we felt welcomed and at home.Hats off to the Chef for the delicious food! We ordered the Reindeer soup and grilled cheese, and the Reindeer Meatloaf and Mac-n-cheese. Everything was flavorful and savory. It was a nice treat to enjoy after a long day of hiking in the cold rain.

Came here for dinner after spending the day in Seward and Kenai Fjords. It was fairly empty, so walked in and was immediately seated. Server was very friendly, helpful, and polite. Started off with some ceviche while looked over the menu. Ceviche came out right away and was a good portion of fresh fish. Ordered a little bit of everything for the meals from the salads, chowder, reindeer stew, and fish sandwich.All the food came out together in about 10 minutes and was freshly made. The presentation and plating were decent, but the food was good. Server constantly checked in to make sure everything was good and was prompt on filling glasses and cleaning empty dishes.Overall, good service and good food. Only suggestion I would have would be to update/remove the references to chattermark.biz as your business website as it's just a parked domain as of today. That address is listed on your Facebook and Google search results.

We are here very early before tourist season kicks off. I think they Just Reopened so it was quiet but very clean.Very Pleasant & Helpful staff.Fish Curry Soup was tasty and fragrant. Nice pieces of carrot and fish. Just right for late afternoon snack.Husb had halibut and fries. Nicely cooked, flavorful, a bit on the small side for portions but fresh and tasty.Will return on our next run to Seward!

The food was fantastic. We got the salmon burger and fried halibut and fried salmon. The salmon burger felt light to eat and had a sweeter taste from the blueberry aoli that complimented it nicely. The fish and chips were delicious, very crispy and the fish tender and flaky. What really stole the show though was their cilantro garlic aoli that was served as a side to the fish and chips. Hands down the most delicious dipping sauce we've ever had. I do not tolerate cilantro usually in any meal and this was just out of the park.Lastly the service was also great, very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere, definitely recommend.

I had a Philly Steak Burrito but wasn’t overly impressed. It tasted kind of plain and some of the rice was undercooked. The staff was very friendly though, so 5 stars for them. I did like the chips and salsa that came with the burrito though.

One of my go-to spots in Seward. This will be my third season coming back to work for the summer and Railway Cantina is always my first stop. Great service and quality ingredients every time. The Blackened Halibut is always on point! You guys will be seeing me plenty over the next few months. Cheers!

I've been here many times over the years always getting a fish burrito of some sort. Recently I went back and was worried that things had changed seeing the low ratings. Nevertheless, I had a tofu veggie burrito and it was amazing (despite the fact that the name "tofu veggie burrito" doesn't inspire confidence)! They have an great variety of house-made salsa and hot sauce. One of favorite places to get Mexican style food in Alaska.

Skip this little tourist trap. With the menu that promises a wide selection you forget you are in a business that shares a kitchen with a pizzeria and another little restaurant. The prices reflect a cruise ship docking town and the flavors don't deliver. We tried the smoked salmon quesadilla, the reindeer burrito (it's reindeer sausage FYI), and the rock fish tacos. The tacos and the quesadilla were the only decent tasting things but there were only 2 tacos making them essentially $9 tacos! Well we're fed after an awesome fishing day and that's all that matters. But we definitely won't be back here.

The food was good and just what we wanted after a huge day of exploring Seward and Kenai Fjords National Park. The food was reasonably priced. The place was a bit short staffed but we still got our food quickly once we ordered. Elliot was very helpful and friendly.

The staff seemed nice and well meaning, but food and the service were both very disappointing.With two folks behind the counter and a mostly empty restaurant it took them almost 30min to get our order ready.Now I've had my fair share of Mexican food in different places and styles, but the rice and beans here were unlike anything I've had, in a bad way. They literally mixed some powder in white rice to make the "tomato" rice. Beans and corn seemed taken out of cans and microwaved. Everything, including the salsas, was bland (not even salt)!

The only reason it got as much as two stars was because they were kind and accommodating. However, the food and prices were awful. I ordered the big nachos ($18.25) and asked for extra cheddar cheese instead of the liquid nacho cheese. They agreed but the nachos came out cold with the cheese unmelted and not that much cheese. I asked if he could microwave it to melt the cheese and he did. I also asked for no meat and he offered to add beans. The beans were way too heavily coated in some seasoning I could barely eat them. Also, it says it comes with sour cream but it didn’t have any on it so I asked and he brought some. The chips were also the worst tasting chips I’ve ever had. Everyone else in my party was so upset with their food we wanted to get a second dinner afterward to cleanse the palate. I don’t expect much of a Mexican place in Alaska but I expect better than that, especially for the high price.

Great gelato! I went with a triple combo of sorbet, and it was amazing. Good lemon and grapefruit, but the blood orange was out of this world good! I’ll probably stop by another time before I leave Seward. They also have good fudge and some great chocolates too. Definitely worth a stop in for some treats!

Best gelato in all of Alaska. Made in store and amazing. My favorite is the grapefruit gelato. Super friendly staff and always super clean inside. If you are visiting Seward this is one place you don't want to miss.

Stopped for a quick dessert after having dinner in Seward. It's a nice dessert shop with gelato, truffles, coffee, tea, and bubble tea. Service was polite and friendly. They allow you to sample 3 of the gelatos out of the about 20 of the flavors. There were about 30 different types of truffles.With the gelato, you can have it in a cup, cone, in a float, or affogato. With the Mama bear or medium size, you can pick two different flavors. After sampling 3 flavors, picked the Butter Pecan and Chocolate flavors, but I would've been happy with the other flavors I tested. All of the gelato was very smooth, creamy, and not too sweet. For the truffles, picked out a few of the peanut butter and chocolate ones. I should've given some other flavors a try, but the peanut butter ones were good.Overall, very nice place to have a little dessert when in Seward. Very clean and casual environment. Service was very friendly and prompt.

We came here after lunch on Tuesday 8/24. Here is our feedback:🍨The place feels very mom and pop, friendly, and welcoming.🍨We ordered a Stracciatella baby bear gelato, and a Lychee & Vanilla mama bear gelato.🍨The gelato were some of the best we ever had. My wife especially loved 💕 the Stracciatella. She ranked it as close to the ones she had in Rome that she can find in the States. I thoroughly enjoyed the Lychee gelato as I grew up eating the fresh fruit and it reminds me so much of my childhood!🍨The gentleman that helped us mentioned that every flavor is made in house! We clearly can taste the deliciousness and how much care they put into the gelato.🍨Overall ‘Sweet Darlings’ is a delicious dessert spot with Italian-quality level gelato and attentive service. Highly recommend if you’re in Seward👍 🌟

Great chocolate, fudge and gelato place. Lots of flavors to choose from and even some seating. So many choices the kids had a hard time choosing. The husband even enjoyed his chocolates. Can't wait to try some of the fudge next time.

A fantastic little sweets shop. The atmosphere has an ice cream parlor-ish feel to it. The staff were friendly, professional, and prompt. I tried their coconut gelato and stone blueberry kombucha, and fudge. The gelato was excellent, kombucha had a light flavor, and the fudge was pretty standard. Bathrooms were clean.

Got a milkshake at this summer only place. Nice quick service and very yummy. They do not make their own ice cream but still good.

So glad we stopped here. I got a brownie sundae with Strawberry cheesecake and moose tracks ice cream. They have regular cones, sugar cones, waffle cones so, they even offer Italian sodas, Frappuccinos, lattes. I even took home a pint of their homemade Fireweed ice cream which is amazing

This little creamery was really, really good. The staff were nice and the ice cream was great. Flavors we tried included cookies & cream, blackberry mountain and the Caramel Caribou. My wife and I ate about 5pm on a Saturday. She had salmon and I had ribs. The entire meal was absolutely perfect. Slaw, that came with the ribs, with slivers of halapeno that was the best slaw I've ever had. Shennel was our server and was friendly and prompt.

Food was awful for the prices. The calamari was tough and lacked flavor. The halibut and chips was $36 for 2 pieces of halibut and a handful and clearly frozen fries. The halibut tasted good but the breading was DRENCHED in grease. The place was dead at dinner time so we should have known it wasn’t worth it. The staff was friendly but our waiter was not super knowledgeable about the drinks they carried. The waiter also brought the card reader to the table with our bill and said “I’ll take your card now if you don’t mind.” Before we even got a chance to look at the bill.

You have to go here if only to try their Dirty Fries. Fries with bacon, goat cheese, banana peppers and garlic aioli. I was blown away, it was amazing. I’m putting banana peppers on my fries at home now.We also ordered the blueberry salmon which was simple and wonderful.Our server was attentive and friendly. One of the other staff members was sitting at an empty table working on something and kept making our kiddo laugh. It was just a wonderful dinner. Thanks y’all.

Service was nice. Food was not good. Paid 100 for reheated dry Mac and cheese with halibut on the side?? and fish and chips that were good because of the ketchup. The place kinda smelled bad like restrooms and there were dead flies all over the window. I think food, cleanliness, and quality were not there for me. I don’t do reviews, but thought I would share because Alaska is not a cheap place and you should not waste your money.

Update: Hubby reminded me several times that we really enjoyed the King crab legs here better than anywhere else because of the hot garlic parmesan butter for dipping served with the crab legs! This will be our 1st stop on return trip to Alaska for the best King Crab legs! Much more bang for the buck and worth the cost which was also much much less than other place we tried on this trip.My hubby and I celebrated his birthday here today and we were extremely happy!!! The King Crab legs, the Halibut with mango salsa and brownie ala mode were all excellent. All of the food was hot, fresh and very tasty. Great food, great server and great service!!! Would definitely recommend!!! Will return again!

Great food, atmosphere...and huge outdoor dining area. We were a party of 5. The owner noticed my grandson wasn't eating his meal even though it was very good but really wanted something else. The owner made him something else that he liked at no additional charge. Definitely received!!!

We dined at Seasalt for an early dinner today (4:30pm). Eren was a great server and very attentive to our party of “6”. The “Alaskan Sami” was absolutely delicious! Four of us ordered that sandwich and were not disappointed. The other two had the Halibut in mango sauce. The fish was bland and very much overpriced in our opinion. We live on the Jersey Shore and are well aware of high summer populations in visitor towns. Had the fish been tastier it might have warranted the $36 price tag. The brownie a la mode was excellent as well. As we left we told others checking out the menu in the window about the Alaskan Sami. So yummy! The ambience, service and comfort inside were perfect. 👍

We took a drive down Seward Hwy so we could visit Seward and take in some sites. Food is definitely part of the experience and we were not disappointed with Sea Salt Alaskan Grill & Bar. They had just opened for the season so we were the only group in the dining floor. It felt like we had rented out the place, it was excellent. The waitress was very personable and attentive. We ordered an appetizer and main courses. The fried calamari appetizer was excellent and set the mood for the seafood main course. Following that a halibut burger and clam chowder arrived. Both were excellent and seasoned very well. I would recommend Sea Salt as a stop on your list for Seward.

Ive tried my fair share of barbecue from around the country and can say this place is definitely good! Ribs and Brisket are done very well.I would have given them 5 stars but they left out my extra brisket I paid $8 for. Otherwise, great little barbecue joint.

After reading all the positive reviews I was excited to try this place out, I love BBQ!Service - Super friendly, knowledgable.Food - The Pork Belly was really good, good flavor, good texture. The ribs and brisket had almost zero flavor though. I had to smoother them in so-so BBQ sauce just to give them any taste.Atmosphere - everyone sits outside and I can imagine it's always quite windy in this area of Alaska so your food gets cold super quick, like by the time I sat down the brisket was already cold.

It was amazing to find actual Texas BBQ in Alaska. Chad is amazing and knows how to cook a fat mean bbq sandwich. Sweet tea was the perfect fit as well. Just eat here.

I know, I know. You’re in Alaska, never heard of Alaskan BBQ. But! The owner is from Texas, and they really know what they’re doing. Get yourself a brisket plate (yeah, I know it’s 21 bucks, but do you see any cows growing around you?) and a King Street IPA, be generous with the BBQ sauce and you won’t regret it.

Amazing food! I had both the pork belly and brisket sandwiches for lunch/dinner and I can’t say enough about how good it was. The pork belly was juicy and full of flavor. Brisket was moist and delicious. Despite there being a small line when I arrived, the wait was extremely short. GO HERE!!

With smoke rising early in the morning, you can be sure something tasty is cooking. The food is authentic, the portions are generous, the price is reasonable and the sitting is warm, what more can you ask for in a cold, rainy day in June in Alaska?

Man oh man, I'm from Texas and didn't think I'd find BBQ up here like this. The Brisket was amazing, turkey was good and moist and the ribs were unbelievable! Cold beer and excellent BBQ, you can't ask for more, we will definitely be back!

Everywhere we planned for eating at beforehand was closed so we stumbled upon this place. Not our original choice but the food was amazing and they have an awesome selection of sauces to put on your food.

Amazing burritos and tacos! The service is great and you really can't go wrong with anything you order. We ordered some pescado taco, carnitas burrito, elote taco, and carne asada tacos and burritos. Everything was awesome! The fresh made in-house corn tortillas were the icing on the cake.

Excellent! We tried all the street taco flavors and pork carnitas was our favorite... but they were all delicious!!! Verde sauce was so good! I highly recommend a stop here.

SOOOOO expensive and awful. $97 for cod basket, halibut basket, 2 shrimp baskets, and 4 fountain sodas. Both the cod and halibut were 2 pieces, which we knew in advance but figured it would be good sized since they were $19 and $24, but they were tiny and didn't taste good. Most definitely not worth the money. The shrimp was the worst...no flavor, loads of breading, and definitely not fresh. Nothing here is fresh or flavourful.

The fish was good. Downhill from there. You do not spray cleaner on the tables while customers are sitting there. The customer service was poor. The chairs, tables (sides and bottom), and floor were filthy. The restrooms were gross. The fries were soggy. Will not be going back.

I’m not one for writing reviews especially bad reviews but this was quite the experience. Got lunch here today. When we first walked in we thought it looked like it used to be a really nice pizza place. You have to order before you sit down, the person at the register was really hard to understand. We went to sit down at a booth and the whole booth had not been cleaned, there was food all over the seats, we tried to find a clean seat and had to settle for one with food still, unsanitary. It should be cleaned in between each customer. Started on the food we got the fish and chips which looked like it was served on a small cookie sheet pan, the fries were bland had no seasonings and tasted like frozen fries. They don’t tell you how much fish comes with the meal, it was just two pieces, and the fish was raw in the center. Stopped eating right then. Service was just ok, they didn’t check in on us once while we were there. Don’t recommend this place at all, I wish I had read reviews before I ate here.

Ordered 3 halibut fish and chip baskets and 4 drinks for about $85. The fish and chips were likely not made in the store. Frozen Costco fish and chips are better tasting and better priced. Each basket came with 2 very small fish pieces. This store gets away with it likely because most customers are tourists. I can't believe I dropped almost $90 here

Food was overpriced for the quality. Fries were dry and unsalted. The only reason people go here is because there is a lack of other establishments in this small town. The items have gone up in price by up to $10 compared to images of the menu from a year ago. Funny how seafood is more expensive here by the ocean than it is in the Midwest. Seems more like a tourist trap than anything. Wish there was a way they could prove this food was “fresh”.

If you see this restaurant near you, please do yourself a favor and RUN AWAY.This is the absolute worst restaurant I’ve ever been to in the United States.Let’s start off with this - OVERPRICED. $15 for a Hamburger (which I don’t think had ground beef in it) with some soggy fries.Now Customer Service - we asked the girl at the cash register what the hamburger was made of. She didn’t even know what it was made of, which I don’t personally think is a good sign.As well, the fries I ate had MOLD in some of them, which I of course refused to eat.The best thing out of the whole meal was the brownie, which was the only thing to actually edible.Remember, if you see this restaurant, RUN AWAY for your personal safety.

Order 1 pounds king crab dinner and only got a leg and a half. Service at best was mediocre at best, no one was at the counter greeting or taking orders. The 3 young ladies there are were in the kitchen talking and no paying attention to the counter. I had to wave at them to get their attention to place an order. Tried to call multiple times to talk to a manager and no one answered the phone.

We ordered a crab cake with fries and it was 29.99. I think that was way overpriced for a crab cake and some fries. The food (literally one) wasn’t that good, especially since it was way too much money. The women’s bathroom was very low- quality. The toilet paper was on the ground and you had to pour the container of soap upside down. The toilet paper seating was also very hard to get out and always ripped. Would not recommend, especially if you are looking for crab cakes.

Crab is the only reason patronize this establishment. The king crab legs are delectable. Other items? the fries are greasy and limp, the breading on the halibut is wimpy, tasteless, and slides off the fish, finally, the fish itself is standard issue frozen halibut.

We had calamari and halibut/chips. Halibut was cooked and tasted good. Fries and calamari were not. The overall building was confusing with same staff servicing multiple cuisines which probably adds to the younger staff struggling to speak properly to the menu and maintain quality.We generally ask new places what is your best dish that will make me want to come back? We got a confused face and shoulder shrug. If it weren’t raining we would have left.If your own workers aren’t excited about the food then why would customers be? Force them to try the menu they serve so they know how to make it better and speak to it.

Rooms are pretty good and standard for what is available at a lodge in Alaska. A little tired and is looking like could have a refresh but very serviceable. The lodge itself is a very open and airy building with a large fireplace, check-in desk, mini business center and a gift shop. Nice space and it has a water bottle fill station. They do have a restaurant onsite (see Resurrection Roadhouse) and a shuttle to Seward which is really helpful.

Property is beautiful. The rooms are simple, rustic, and clean. Each of the buildings is named after local wildflowers. And there's space between the buildings, so nothing seems crowded. Plenty of trees in the area, and you really feel you're tucked away in the woods. The restaurant is close by, but felt it was overpriced for the quality of the food. Across the street from the hotel and restaurant is a creek with a beautiful riverbed. Great spot for looking for eagles, and we were told it's also a good place to spot moose on occasion. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, would recommend as a nice place to stay in Seward.

A pleasant place to stay with cozy cabin rooms, friendly and helpful staff, and a reliable shuttle service with helpful drivers.Visit: July 2-5 2022, 3 nightsPros:- Everyone we met was incredibly friendly and helpful. The bus drivers were funny and took the time to explain the shuttle schedule and highlights repeatedly, and gave us food recommendations too. The staff were helpful, bringing us additional towels and fans promptly, and driving us to the Salmon Bake to make up for messing up our room keys.- The hotel is a short 5-10 minute drive from downtown Seward, which makes it less convenient but also a lot quieter than the other hotels.- The shuttle is reliable about their schedule which makes getting to and from the hotel a breeze.- The rooms are fairly spacious, nice furniture, and well equipped.- The lobby is a pleasant and open space to relax and wait. We spent several hours waiting after checkout for our return train ride. There were power outlets to charge our devices.Cons:- No AC in the rooms (customary here) but they brought us fans which were helpful.- As mentioned, not as accessible as some of the hotels by small boat harbor or downtown.Overall: would definitely stay here again. The only complaint I have has to do with AC, but what should I expect? It's Alaska where heat rather than AC is needed 99% of the time.

Expected more for what It costs to lodge here. Was disappointed that they don't offer decaf in the rooms or espresso bar. They charge you to ENTER the laundry room. The washer and dryer both cost and $3 for a small box of tide. So a tad greedy, imo. Outside of town, so not close to any restaurants or stores. If you don't have a rental car, you're kind of stuck until the shuttle comes. If you're pressed for time, you're SOL. The rooms were clean, and the view is great. But you can hear every neighbor, right left or above you. Zero insulation.

Great place to stay. Very close to Exit Glacier, but a bit of a distance out of town. Very few dining options in walking distance. Room was very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. Would recommend if your visting the N.P.

Rooms are very clean. The lobby personnel are very friendly and accommodating. Their shuttle will take you into town, to the small ship harbor, grocery store, and train station. They also have a golf cart that will take you to your room, or the restaurant. Since the train leaves later in the afternoon and checkout is at 11 they store your luggage for the day then deliver it to the train station. Very accommodating! Loved our stay here.

I had frankly high expectations with this beautiful lodge amongst nature but there is hardly anything positive to mention about. Rooms are clamped with each and every other sound from nearby cabins clearly audible. The weird part is the bathroom sink is out near the bed so after using restroom you have to come out and disturb other members in the room for washing hands even. This is the one and only place I have found in my life which has sink outside. No AC, no fan, small bathrooms just to fit in and water pressure v low. No microwave in the room, not even a complimentary coffee. No room service.Only thing is it’s between beautiful surroundings and trails for which I gave one star.

What a great place to stay! The lodge is surrounded by cabins with a handful of rooms in each. Our room itself has 2 queen beds that are firm but pretty comfortable. It is very spacious. There is a pullout couch, and table with 4 chairs. The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee machine, mini fridge, and sink. The room has it's own fenced patio with table and 2 chairs, plus a big shared porch out front. I will mention again that it is very spacious because it deserves mentioned twice. We are very pleased and would not only stay here again, we will recommend this to friends, family, and even strangers.

The room was clean and comfortable. Hotel staff were great. Nearby restaurant was a bit pricey but good. Shuttle driver was very accommodating and shuttle service was good. They will take your bags to the train station for free, if you are taking the train back to Anchorage! Enjoyed our stay!

I don’t review often. Actually at all but this place deserves a review and not a good one.CONS=-“Cable TV” was 5 basic satellite channels-No fan for use during summer time. Very hot in the room. Even hotels charging $100 that I’ve been too have a fan in the room.-1ply toilet paper. For a hotel charging $966 after tax for 2 nights I should at least get to wipe my *** without it bleeding-Molding on the floor was halfway ripped up-I literally had to screw the toilet seat back on as it fell off the toilet when my wife went to sit on it (she’s 140lbs)-Staff were not friendly. Barely responded when spoken to.PROS=The location was very good. Right down from Exit Glacier. Had a nice hike with the baby and wife. Also got some very nice photographsHonestly I could go on and on for reasons to avoid this place.

Our group had 6 people and the room that they recommended us to book is perfectly comfortable for our 3 days trip in Seward. We had 2 queen beds and an extended sofa beds. They provided room services everyday. Very nice and clean. Super close to the glacier and kennels. Very nice and calm area

I expected more for the price. The sink faucet sprayed all over the place. This was a tad frustrating especially since the sink is located in the bedroom, not in the bathroom. When we checked in, the woman at the front desk was not particularly nice. Luckily we only interacted with her once. The rest of the time we had a pleasant experience with the staff (especially Mika, she’s wonderful!!!!) Overall it’s a decent place to stay for one or two nights, but I do think it’s overpriced and not very comfortable.

The Yukon Bar is Seward's local dive bar. There were a lot of locals - some colorful characters, all were nice to us tourists. We're glad to have stopped here because we had a great time. My drink (old fashion) was pretty bad, but the atmosphere was so fun. There is one pool table, a juke box, live music, a ceiling full of dollar bills from past visitors, a very eclectic collection of odds and ends that decorate the bar, offensive bathroom graffiti, and a small but cute highlight - a quarter-collecting panda that sits at the bar. I recommend stopping by if you are in town and dive-bars are your thing.

Every time we visit Seward this is one of the bars we must get a drink at. You'll meet all sorts of people from different places. Always a great time!

Best reindeer nachos, also very pet friendly unlike all the other taverns/ restaurants/& Bars. It's almost like your at cheers but a more quaint and homely feeling. This would be due to the size of good old mile 0 on seward highway in the start of Alaska. Come and join us and stay awhile.Look forward to seeing you!!!!!!!🙂😃😃

We sure enjoyed going to the Yukon Bar a few nights while in the area! As they'll tell you, it's a dive bar with a fun and friendly atmosphere. Bartender is great and service good. Stop in for a beverage!

Super local joint. Cool vibe and awesome old rock-n-roll music. Great service at walk-up bar and the other patrons--some locals and some tourists--all seemed to have a good time and were jovial. We sat at a high-top table and had drinks (excellent beer selection). The dollar bills stapled to the ceiling were a conversation starter.

This place was jumping and you could hear that much driving by. Walk in to a ceiling littered in money. The atmosphere was chill but lively. It is one of my new favorite stops in Seward. Doesn't hurt that the best tacos are located just outside on the corner. I highly recommend eating their tacos. I recommend both.

The Yukon bar is a must see if you are from out of state or out of town or even a local resident! friendly people and an amazing staff! Plus they have an event or something happening 5 days a week must see personally my favorite is the open Jam/mic night never had more fun!

Rooms were very nice an clean, but you could hear thru the walls, was very noisy,, not a great place for elderly people, house keeper had a dog that barked all the time

The lodge was beautiful. For $160 per night I expected much more. The mattress left us with sore and stiff backs in the mornings. I have slept on better mattresses at Motel 6. The pillows were completely useless. We had to use sweatshirts and fleece jackets to provide support for our necks while trying to sleep. We stayed three nights, and they only provided two towels in the bathroom. These were not full bath towels, but more like utility towels you buy to wash your car. After the first night of restlessness due to the pathetic mattress and pillows I called the property manager asking for more pillows and bath towels. Her response, "those are new pillows, but I will try to scrounge up a pillow or two." Needless to say, they did nothing. We ended up buying pillows from Ace Hardware in Seward. Furthermore, they didn't even provide a mattress cover, which is kind of disgusting. The room wasn't finished, no baseboards, missing light bulbs , and the window curtains left a lot to be desired. Finally, supposedly they have a house cleaner comer in every day, but the common kitchen area was filthy. Please do not stay here. There are so many other options in the Seward area. I wish we would have stayed in a private cabin for approximately the price.

Very convenient location yet with a sense of living in the wilderness. This place comes with a fully equipped kitchen perfect for a family like ours with young children. The rooms are decent sized, neat and offer a rustic and cost feeling.

My dad and I stayed here for a night in September 2020 and loved it. Allen and Elaine were great hosts and made sure our stay was cozy. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a grocery store in town close by and we were able to buy food and make a great meal. The beds were cozy and the heat was warm! I would love to stay here again next time I visit Seward. 5 star experience, thank you!

This place is awesome if you are staying a night or two in Seward for tourism. Rooms are kept clean and there was more than enough beds for us. However the walls are paper thin and we could hear people walking in the halls.

It’s a very nice and comfy stay in Seward, I arrived very late around 1:00am, however, the sky is like at dusk. Check-in was easy, the owner allows you to use your booking phone number’s last four digits for entry combo. The room has lots of electrical outlets, and it suits me well as I had to charge batteries for 2 phones, 1 SLR camera and 1 drone, and to use the computer to download all photos and videos from the daily activities. I got up late, all guests from four other rooms already checked out. So long!

We were supposed to get two double beds and got one bed and a couch with no bedding. Our room didn't get service despite spending four nights there. My mom and I had trouble with our allergies anytime we were in the room, and there is no ventilation, just a box fan and a space heater they provide. After initially posting my review the staff sent my mom many harassing texts trying to get us to remove the review or leave. If you are a family or a person who values your respiratory health I would choose to go elsewhere to spend your money

Good place to stay in Seward. Coffee is very good. Suggestion: I think it is saver not to post publicly (the notice at room door and the place near laundry facility) that the room key code is the last 4 digits of your phone numbers. Simply communicate that to the guests privately in emails or texts.

I recently stayed here and thought the room was very homey. It was also very close to the Sealife Center, and a local coffee house. The directions on how to find the location were spot on and we found the place with no problems. We utilized the Hulu on the roku TV. There is also a binder of local activities, restaurants, etc that we looked through to get some ideas of places to go. I also have to comment that the shampoo and conditioner were great smelling, and we had hot water in the shower right away. Overall I would recommend this lodging to others coming to Seward.

Great location in Seward, wonderful check-in experience, comfortable bed, and the TV has Netflix/Hulu/etc.It takes a while for the hot water to come on in the shower, but that was the only weird thing.

I love this little lodging. It is locally owned by a family is Seward. The rooms are very cute and clean. This is my second time staying here. The first time was actually before COVID. It's right in the middle of town so easy to get to things.

Staying at the Sauerdough was fantastic--our apartment was a studio but by no means cramped. We visited in the spring, and so were really grateful for the black out curtains which truly blocked out all the sun. The kitchen was fantastic and stocked with everything you could need.Our only two gripes were that the hot water could be kind of hit or miss and that you can hear everyone talking and walking up and down the hallway.

The location is downtown Seward. Unfortunately the bakery it is attached to was closed for the season. The door to enter is to the right of the bakery entrance. You do have to walk up steep stairs, no elevator! Think twice about what luggage you want to bring. We had the rooms overlooking the street. Very quiet and with modern updates. I was in the small room above the stairs. You will need the provided extension cord to plug in any devices you may want during the night. It is an old building. If you can't find the light switch, it may be on the outside of the room. It is for the small child's room and bathroom. The kitchen brings back memories of Grandma's farm kitchen. The bathroom has modern updates. The main bedroom is cozy and welcoming. The coffee table is just the right size to do puzzles on in the evening. And the family dining table is perfect for any meal you may want to cook in the well stocked kitchen/ ware and appliances. The coat rack and bench were well used items in winter. I wish we knew more of the history of the building. It was very interesting. No blinds in the bathroom but, no one to see in. I did see an eagle soaring above the trees towards the mountains one morning. Worth it!

I have stayed here in the past for work. Completely worth it due to it being located right down town which makes it close to everything in town. I also liked the fact the room I had a kitchen with cooking supplies. Internet service here as well was good for those who care. Overall worth while place staying.Note: if you are in Seward for the winter best probably to legit stay here and cook for yourself. Not much is open food or tourist wise. But the aquarium was open which was nice.

Cute little apartment. Surprised to see a kitchen in it! Bed was comfy. Location was in a perfect spot in downtown. Got coupons to use for breakfast at the Sea Bean. Great food and coffee. Would definitely stay here again.

The door lock didnt work. The pull out Fulton is dusty and uneven to sleep.Mike (General manager) and Meredith helpful but could not fix the door lock right away as it was weekend. We had to vacate the same day as it security issue and luckily were able to find accomodation(hotel) at different place.They have issued full refund.

Quaint little spot conveniently located in Seward. We always enjoy staying here and the clawfoot tub is our favorite part.

Lovely little lodge above a coffee shop right in the middle of Seward. The self check in was super easy, and the room was very clean when we arrived. The location is perfect, and we even got coupons to the delicious cafe below. Would recommend to anyone staying in Seward!

A charming, historic set of apartments. This is an old building with all the quirks that come with older spaces, but if you love supporting local and dislike cookie cutter hotels- Sauerdough is a great option. Their staff were extremely accommodating with our group, we enjoyed the coffee coupons for the Sea Bean coffee shop downstairs, and enjoyed the uniqueness of each apartment. The location was close to several shops and the sea life center and we enjoyed a walk along the water each morning.
