I had a great time on Friday at the Circle2Success Ltd Cheese Club at Hotel Du Vin, Cheltenham. Great to hear from Andre Klein about all things horse racing! 🏇 I also got a photo with the Gold Cup, which made my day! Thank you Andre for bringing it!Also lovely to hear from Allie Selby about Hope for Tomorrow, from Clare Tidal Training Direct Ltd. about Public Hearts and from Alice Robin about Linc Charity. And of course, to top it all off, delicious food as always!Thanks to Suzanne Hall-Gibbins and Angela Edwards Director and Co-Founder at Circle2Success Ltd for organising! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Not often do you go to a business event in an England shirt! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿Last night though, we did! We were at the Wooden Spoon Worcestershire St George’s quiz. The night was absolutely brilliant and bonkers in equal measure with the talented Jon Fraser playing quiz master, dressed as Henry VIII and accompanied by his six wives.Well done to all the organisers including Vince Hopkins and Laura Gurney. We had the perfect teammates in Dale Godliman and Jodie Godliman and…..we only went and WON!!! Unbelievable!

Can we talk about Bluey?For many parents, carers, grandparents, aunties, uncles and anybody else with small children around, you’ll know all about Bluey and possibly, like me, LOVE it too!If you don’t know Bluey, you may have noticed it in the news a lot lately. Uproar about the possibility of the childhood home being sold.Our family have been on tenterhooks for the last week waiting to discover the outcome.I don’t want to give away any spoilers so I won’t go into details about the story line but I will say that both Ali Chester and I cried - I’m not ashamed to admit it but I cried at a programme designed for small children.There was a moment in it when Bluey told her classmates she was moving away and Calypso (her teacher) told the class a story that had an uncertain ending with nobody knowing if there was going to be a happy or sad finale (an analogy for the whole of the episode!)Calypso reassured Bluey that “Everything will work out the way it's supposed to”. Here’s the LinkedIn/life lesson bit…Those words from a cartoon dog ring true so often in everyday life and in business. We don’t really know how anything is going to turn out, we use our best judgement to try and create what we believe to be the surest path forwards but ultimately we can never be certain. I do believe however that whilst it might not be exactly what you want at that moment, everything happens for a reason and, as Calypso says, everything will work out the way it’s supposed to.

It’s our birthday!!!! 🎈🎈🎈Today, we are celebrating 8 years in business!! There have been lots of highs and lows since 2016 but we absolutely LOVE what we do and want to thank everybody for their support throughout the last 8 years. We couldn’t have done it without all of our amazing clients, friends, family and the brilliant business community. Time to celebrate! 🥂”
