1 Apple – Airpods Pro – Best Value for Money Wireless Earbuds For Small Ears

If you weren’t expecting to see the Apple Airpods on the list in one form or another, you’ve taken your eye off the ball. These are some of the best wireless earbuds for small ears that money can buy. However, they’re also some of themost expensive at $150, but in the opinion of many, you get what you pay for.

The best of all worlds…

The Airpods are well built and super comfortable thanks to the ergonomic design and three sizes of silicone tips that are included. The charging case slips into your pocket easily and will take its fair share of knocks. The Airpods come with an IPX rating of 4.

They offer some of the best ANC and sound quality o the market. Sound signatures remain fresh thanks to an adaptive EQ, and the touch control works flawlessly. The Airpods have Bluetooth 5.0, which will give you a solid connection at a range of up to ten meters.

For some folks, the best thing about the AirPods is the use of Siri. If at any point you need Apple’s Siri to help you with any number of tasks, all you need do is say, “Hey, Siri.” There is also auto in-ear detection which will pause and play your music whenever the earphones are taken out of the ears and vice versa.

Lasts all day long…

Depending on how much you use the ANC and other features, the Airpods will provide you with up to 24 hours of total listening time on a full charge. The Mega safe charging case is one of the biggest appeals to this model.

The Airpods are equipped with Transparency mode, which allows you to let some of the outside world food in if you need to stay aware. Spatial Audio ensures that the audio experience is as immersive as possible.

A pleasure to listen to…

As far as sound quality is concerned, the Airpods are an absolute pleasure to listen to. The adaptive EQ also means that if you’re not big on setting up custom sound profiles, you can still get premium sound, no matter what you are listening to. Though the app does allow for rough flexibility to keep tweakers happy. Nice warm and full bass that never distorts, crisp and clear highs with a mi range that is forward and in charge.

The Airpods are hard to beat when it comes to reliable all-rounders, they are by no means themost expensive wireless earbudsout there, and when you take into account the quality and features included, they are very competitively priced.

2 Bose Quiet Comfort Noice Cancelling Earbuds – Most Comfortable Wireless Earbuds For Small Ears

Bose’s reputation for quality sound has been hard-won over many years of painstaking dedication to making great-sounding audio devices. The Quiet Comfort true wireless earbuds are Bose’s flagship model, and they stack up quite well.

In terms of build quality and durability, the Quiet comfort earbuds score high marks; they look and feel solid. The smoothness with which the case lid opens reminds me of a convertible sportscar (it sometimes feels as though it takes just as long to open, though).

Lightweight and comfortable…

The earbuds themselves are large, and this goes for the big oval case as well. The awkward size aside, though, the earbuds are very comfortable and light; when you place them in your ears, it’s as if they weigh next to nothing. They also sit very securely, so going to the gym or for a long run won’t be a problem; just make sure you get the right fit with the wing tips that are included.

The Quiet comfort earbuds come with an IPX rating of 4, so a few drops of rain or some sweat you worked up in the gym isn’t going to do them any harm.

Not the best battery life…

The case charges via a USB-C cable or wirelessly with any QI-certified charger. On a full charge, you’ll be getting around six hours of playtime depending on the ANC use; the case holds an additional two charges, which brings the total up to 18. This is by no means bad, but it is a bit disappointing, considering the size of the case and the buds.

The touch controls work flawlessly, and getting the earbuds paired up is quick and easy. They offer pretty good Active Noise Cancelling for phone calls and transparency mode for letting your surroundings in. Thanks to the Bose companion app, there are some options for sound and function customization as well.

Fully immersive…

When it comes to how they sound, the Quiet Comfort earbuds live up to the brand name. The signature is balanced but powerful and immersive as any on the market. There’s plenty of loudness for the ones who want it, and phone calls are crystal clear. They are also some of thebest wireless earbuds for low-endon the market.

Overall the Bose Quiet Comfort earbuds cannot be faulted for build quality or sound, but such a large case for less than twenty hours of playtime is a bit of a letdown. At around $200, these are by no means cheap, so you need to really love them if you want them. But remember that style gets sacrificed for audio here.

3 Beats – Flex Wireless Earbuds – Best Affordable Wireless Earbuds For Small Ears

At around $70, the Beats Flex is definitely not in the expected price range when you think of Beats products. The brand has been receiving increasingly positive reviews from users in recent years, and the Beat Flex is one of the most surprising models they’ve ever released.

Great choice of colors…

The Flex comes in Black, Flame Blue, Yuzu Yellow, and Smoke Grey. The packaging is the smallest little box ever, and yet it hints at quality; there are four ear tip sizes included helping you find your perfect fit.

The earbuds are comfortable enough, and despite the cable, they do not give the impression of weight until you start running around or doing some squats. I would definitely not recommend this one for folks who want to be active with earbuds since these will need constant readjusting due to the weight of the cable tugging at the earbuds.

Built to last…

As far as build quality, though, the Flex cannot be faulted, and the magnetic connectors allow you to wear them with confidence when not in use. The cable that connects the two earbuds together is made from nitinol which is a durable mixture of Titanium and Alloy.

While the Beats Flex doesn’t come with an official IPX rating, I don’t see any problem with using them in clammy weather.

Take control…

The Beats Flex is fast and easy to pair up to any device, and offers quick pairing for Apple devices like all Beats products. As far as controls are concerned, they are basic but intuitive, and remember, we are in the sub-$100 range.

There’s a volume rocker on the left side of the cable and a multifunction button for pausing/playing/skipping and bringing up your phone’s voice assistant. One small downside is that the voice assistant’s voice is always mixed very loudly and cannot be adjusted.

A great function is that the Flex earbuds will automatically pause the music when the magnets are engaged and then start playing it again when you place them back in your ears. As far as codecs support, you get the standard AAC, MP,3, etc., but no high-fidelity stuff like aptX, and again what can you expect for around $70?

Quick charge…

The Beats Flex will charge via a USB C cable and be fully charged in about two hours. On a full charge, you’ll be getting around twelve hours of playtime. Fifteen minutes on the charger should get you about an hour of playtime.

As far as sound is concerned, the Beats cannot be faulted, but keep in mind that you’re paying less than $100, so you’re not going to get all the fine details, but there is plenty of volume, and that classic Beats low end. The mids and highs are clear and well separated.

There is no noise isolation, but the microphone is surprisingly good on the Beats Flex; there is going to be no trouble getting yourself understood on phone calls. All in all, these are easily some of thebest low cost Beats wireless earbudsmoney can buy.

4 Soundcore By Anker – P3 Life – Best Budget Wireless Earbuds For Small Ears

The Soundcore Life P3s have recently acquired a reputation for being some of thebest budget wireless earbudsyou can buy. Coming in at around $80 dollars, they certainly are competitively priced.

Stylish and colorful…

The Life P3s come in Black, Navy Blue, Sky Blue, Red, and White. The understated and minimalist design makes them very stylish, and the sandblasted finish on the case means fingerprints aren’t going to show up so easily.

The Life P3s are comfortable to wear and sit very securely, and you’ll have no problem at all taking them to the gym or for a run. They can become a bit uncomfortable after a while, but perhaps some third-party ear tips could sort that out. One of the most surprising features is the IPX 5 water resistance rating, which is something you don’t regularly see for under $100.

Customize for the perfect sound…

As far as features and functions, the P3s are holding their own very well. The companion app is really great to use and allows for some crazy sound and function customization. A good example of this is the touch controls, they are responsive and easy to get the hang of, but you can pick up to thee functions per gesture which leads to enough possibilities to keep anyone happy. There are tap and tap-and-hold options available.

The P3s work very well with both Google Assistant and Apple’s Siri, but I would have liked to see voice activation. The earbuds offer a flawless wireless connection thanks to Bluetooth 5.0, but there is no multipoint pairing.

Impressive battery life…

Battery life is quite impressive considering the size of the case and earbuds as well as the price. On a full charge, the P3s will deliver around six to seven hours of playback, depending on the ANC use. The case holds an additional 24 hours, which brings the total up to more than thirty hours which is fantastic. The case can be charged wirelessly or using USB and will be fully charged in about three hours.

The sound on the P3s is very passable, considering that they cost less than $100. The sound signature is possibly not the most accurate for all genres of music, but it is balanced and powerful nonetheless.

At high volumes, the earphones do not distort, and the low end is some of the best sounding of any budget earphones out there. The mids are present and full, while the highs can seem a bit timid and recessed sometimes.

Quality ANC without spending a fortune…

The ANC on the P3s is almost as good as some premium models. It offers three modes, Transport mode will focus on canceling out low-frequency hum, while outdoors is more for ambient noises, and Indoor is for work environments. This makes them thebest affordable ANC earbuds for small earsthat you can buy.

Overall the P3s are easily thebest wireless earbuds for those on a budgetthat you can get; just don’t go expecting too much in any one category, and you’ll be very happy with your purchase.

5TOZO T6 True Wireless Earbuds

If you’re looking for a carry case that also charges your earbuds in the budget price bracket, then the Tozo T6 wireless earbuds may just be the pair of headphones for you. Yes, of course, there will be some negatives in a set this cheap, but overall there are just too many pros that we could not ignore this set.

[note2]So, what is so good about the Tozo T6 then?[/note2]

Well, pretty much everything. Let’s go down our list of criteria and find out just why we put these at the top of our list!

Starting with comfort, we have three different varieties of gel-flexible silicone ear caps included that ensure your in-ear comfort at all times. They create a nice seal, and we did not experience any sound leakage.

[note2]Plenty of battery life…[/note2]

Advertised as having a six hour playback time (with an extra 24 hours charge stored in the carry case) and in testing, we found that to be basically true, with 5.5 hours playback and 22 hours charge stored.

Utilizing Bluetooth 5.0, they surprised us by having no trouble staying connected all the way to 30 feet, exactly as Tozo promised.

And in terms of sound quality, the Tozo T6 has a clean and balanced soundscape, making them a pleasure to use, although the bass was sometimes slightly lacking. And don’t even get us started on the price, as we are bound to ramble on about just how cheap they are!

Unfortunately, unlike many of their competitors, these headphones don’t have a dedicated companion app, so you can’t EQ their sound or alter their control scheme, but that was the only glaring omission we could find here.

Our rating: [usr 4.5]

Pros

  • Quality for a budget price.
  • IPX8 waterproofing.
  • Six + 24 hours charge.
  • Priced to please.

6Samsung Galaxy Buds, Bluetooth True Wireless Earbuds

As one of the first iterations of true next-generation wireless earbuds, the Samsung Galaxy Buds, Bluetooth True Wireless Earbuds are truly pushing the envelope of what is possible from such a small package. The combination of cutting edge technology, comfort, and sound quality make these among the best wireless earbuds available today!

[note2]Think we’re exaggerating?[/note2]

Think again, as the Samsung Galaxy Buds have taken the game to the next level. During testing, we were blown away by the performance and extras included with these headphones. These are a true six hour pair of wireless earbuds, something that many companies claim to have achieved, but very few actually have.

However, unfortunately, the carry case only offers seven hours of additional charge, which is much lower than some of the competition. During our week of testing, we found this less annoying than we originally thought, but it is still something to keep in mind.

[note2]But what about the sound?[/note2]

The sound quality was super impressive, unsurprising as Samsung have always been known for quality headphones. Comfort has not gone to the wayside either. These were super comfortable, and the inclusion of the Samsung wear app meant that we could mix the sound the way we like it.

In particular, we found the call quality to be class-leading, with the new microphones doing an amazing job of picking up our voice and blocking out the rest.

Our rating: [usr 4.3]

Pros

  • Full six hour charge time.
  • Class-leading mic.
  • Comfortable.

7Shure SE215-K Sound Isolating Earphones

Finding the best wireless earphones for small ears was not the easiest task! With so many options out there, we were hard-pressed, whittling it down to just what you see on this list. But the Shure SE215-K Sound Isolating Earphones with Single Dynamic MicroDriver were never in doubt of missing a spot!

This awesome set of wireless earbuds left us wanting more every time we used them!

[note2]What is so appealing about these?[/note2]

For starters, Shure is one of the most trusted audio equipment manufacturers, and the Shure SE215-K wireless earbuds have taken the market by storm since they were introduced. Primarily marketed as a pair of activewear headphones, we found them to be more than versatile enough to use all the time!

[note2]Do you want to know a little secret?[/note2]

These are not actually classic earbuds at all, but more like what we know as earphones. Earbuds are designed to fit far enough inside to achieve minimal noise isolation, but not deep enough to provide rich sound performance.

The SE215-K actually sits much deeper, providing unrivaled levels of comfort and sound quality unattainable by classic earbuds. This deeper seat also provides excellent noise isolation. We found the sound to be neutral, with no glaring faults and a warm soundscape.

[note2]A perfect fit…[/note2]

The included “FitKit” comes in three sizes (S, M, L) of the flex and black foam sleeves, providing comfort to all sized users, but especially the vertically challenged among us. A whopping battery life of 10 hours playback time is a huge plus, but there is no extra life in the case, unlike many of the others.

Our rating: [usr 4.2]

Check Best Price

Pros

  • Detachable cable system enables multiple connectivity options.
  • Great noise isolation.
  • 10 hours playback.

Cons

  • No charge in the carry case.

8JLab Audio JBuds Air True Wireless Signature Bluetooth Earbuds

When people say the JLab Audio JBuds Air true wireless Bluetooth earbuds are priced to please, they sure ain’t lying. These rock bottom beauties took the wireless earbud world by surprise when they were released. With the combination of modern minimalistic styling, maximum durability, intuitive controls, class 1 Bluetooth 5 connectivity, three band EQ, and a price almost everybody can afford, the JLab Audio JBuds Air certainly delivers the goods.

[note2]What’s the catch?[/note2]

To be honest, other than a slightly bass-heavy soundscape (which it handles well, with no distortion present), and a slightly weaker battery, we couldn’t find much to fault here The IP55 dust and water resistance, when paired with the industrial-strength plastic, make these very appealing to anybody with an on-the-go lifestyle.

The auto-connect function works well, and with the three band EQ, you can take full control of the sound. With just a few swipes of the touch controls, you can tune the JBuds Air sound to your personal preferences with the JLab Signature, Balanced, and Bass Boost modes available.

[note2]The best part?[/note2]

You can do all this without the need for an external app, unlike most of the more expensive competitors! However, one issue to be aware of is that these can sometimes remain connected after being placed back in the case, which resulted in dead headphones for us more than once.

Pros

  • Cheap.
  • Rugged.
  • Inbuilt three band EQ.

Cons

  • Weak battery.

9Soundcore Sport Air Wireless Workout Earphones

[note2]Thought we couldn’t find a cheaper pair than the last to showcase?[/note2]

Well, think again! The Soundcore Sport Air wireless workout earphones by Anker may be advertised as a set of headphones for the athletic among us, but in testing, we found them to be perfect for many situations.

User customization is at an all-time high here, with the Soundcore Sport Air coming with seven different sets of ear tips standard, meaning maximum comfort and noise isolation for all users, big or small.

[note2]Come rain, come shine…[/note2]

Looks wise, these are a pretty standard set, with ergonomic and secure fitting ear tips and oval-shaped, high-grade black plastic driver holders. We really liked the way they magnetically clip together when hanging around our neck. The IPX7 waterproofing gives these the toughness needed for any condition.

The right driver holder has the controls inbuilt (with control over calls, music, and volume), and the microphone worked perfectly for calls.

[note2]However…[/note2]

The sound is the only place we felt that these headphones let themselves down. Not terrible, but a bit of a step down from the rest on this list. The pounding bass from the 12 mm composite drivers was slightly overpowering at times. We ended up using these mostly for podcasts and audiobooks, where the sound stage is much less.

But at this price, you really cannot have it all, and for the most part, the Soundcore Sport Air wireless workout earphones by Anker do a fantastic job!

[note2]Keep on listening…[/note2]

What really caught our attention with the Soundcore Sport Air wireless earbuds though was the ten hour battery life advertised (that is right guys, 10 hours!) in testing we got 9 hours 25 minutes before they bit the dust. Absolutely phenomenal for this price bracket.

Pros

  • Extremely affordable.
  • Huge battery life.

10BeatsX Wireless Earphones – Apple W1 Headphone Chip

Looking for a pair of true high-performance wireless headphones? A pair that provide great sound isolation and are super comfortable, even for the smallest ears? Then we reckon you should take a long hard look at the BeatsX wireless earphones, from the Apple owned tech giant, Beats.

[note2]W1 Chip…[/note2]

These sleek, all-black earbuds offer the convenience and quality of Apple AirPods through the use of Apple’s new custom low-power Bluetooth chip, the W1 (also found in the AirPods, PowerBeats3 Wireless and the Solo3 Wireless), in the more safe and secure neckband design.

This chip makes set up an absolute breeze for iPhone users, and also provides longer battery power and the capacity for “Fast-Fuel” charging (five minutes charge time for two hours playback). This added to the AAC Bluetooth codec compatibility makes for awesome connection strength and stability.

[note2]Here’s the answer…[/note2]

However, if you’re coming from a non-iOS device, you may experience approximately a half-second of audio-visual delay. While this is bearable, it’s not great.

Beats “Flex-Form” cable provides all-day comfort, whether you are using them or they are hanging around your neck. This is a morse sophisticated overall look than we are used to seeing in Beats, but a change we like.

[note2]Do these live up to the reputation of overly heavy bass of past iterations of Beats?[/note2]

Well, to say that the BeatsX are not bass-heavy would be a bit of a porky pie, but they are much more balanced than the Beats products of days past. The overall soundscape is punchy, with the mids shining through nicely. Noise isolation is acceptable, with the ear tips forming a nice snug fit.

Our rating: [usr 4.0]

Check Best Price

Pros

  • AAC and W1 chipset.
  • Class 1 Bluetooth.
  • Can connect to more than one device.

Cons

  • Nothing glaring, surprisingly, apart from the audio-visual delay for Android users.

11Sony WF-SP700N/L True Wireless

We are getting pretty deep into our reviews of the best wireless earbuds for small ears, and now seeing a Sony product for the first time! This just proves how diverse the market has become in the past few years, considering how Sony once dominated the headphone market.

Do not worry, though, as the Sony WF-SP700N/L lives up to the Sony pedigree, delivering top-class sound with great functionality and comfort.

[note2]Noise cancellation at its best…[/note2]

Here we have some great Sony innovation at work, with these being the first set of earbuds on the market to offer true noise cancellation. Think back only a few years, and wireless headphones technology seemed like something more fitting in Star Trek than everyday life. Now we have the option of not just wire-free headphones, but also the addition of active noise cancellation!

The Sony WF-SP700N/L gives you access to pure, beautiful silence and offers far greater noise cancellation than any earbuds we have tested in the past. The ambient sound mode lets you blend music in, and with the simple click of a button, you can become totally aware of your surroundings again.

[note2]Tell us more![/note2]

With an amazing battery life (nine hours playback time), an IPX4 splash-proof rating, class-leading inbuilt microphone, and an ergonomic, form-fitting design we are sure that the Sony WF-SP700N/L should be high on your list to consider!

However, connecting is a little strange, with the right earbud connecting to your phone and then the left connecting to the right wirelessly. Took just a few goes to work out, but worked well once setup.

Our rating: [usr 4.0]

Check Best Price

Pros

  • True active noise cancellation.
  • Ergonomic.

Cons

  • Badly designed case.

12Powerbeats Pro Wireless Earphones

From the first time, we laid eyes on the gorgeous Powerbeats Pro; we could tell that these were an Apple designed product. The subtle matte black carry case and earbuds themselves are definitely in line with the design the company fought tooth and nail to be known for, and its solid, smooth finish is satisfying in the hand.

And with its intuitive, satisfying magnetic latch mechanism, you can be sure these will stay safe in the loosest pockets.

[note2]That’s not all![/note2]

Inbuilt auto charging comes as standard with the carry case with up to 18 hours, or two full charges, stored. When added to the nine hours included in the earbuds, you get more than a full day of charge at your fingertips! Apple “Fast Fuel” charging is also included, meaning five minutes of charge time will add 90 minutes of playtime!

There’s an in-built light sensor in each ear tip, which grants the headphones themselves control over playback. When an earpiece is removed, the unit automatically stops the audio, but this function can be turned off if you find it annoying.

[note2]Just so comfortable…[/note2]

Here we see softer angles and more subtle contours that ensure high levels of comfort. The ear tip angle has been adjusted, meaning that the earbuds will not sit uncomfortably on any ear ridges, even the smallest of ears!

We found the Powerbeats Pro comfort levels are far better than the AirPods. With adjustable around-the-back ear hooks ensuring ear smugness, and smooth finish rubber cladding giving high product to skin comfort. Four different ear-tip sizes come with every set, with the smallest set suitable for children above six years old.
